Yes, we adopted our beloved Rocky, from there almost 1/to almost years ago, when our other beloved golden died at the age of of a brain tumor/seizures/strokeRocky died 1/years later of spinal cancer and becoming paralyzedSince we had a good experience when adopting our Rocky, we decided to adopt from there againIt was a huge mistakeThe dog we adopted, Daisy, was not happy in our homeFirst of all, we had alot of issues with potty training and were told she was potty trainedNot only was she not potty trained, it was obvious she had never stepped foot in a houseAnyway, she was very restless, barely slept, and we were waking her at least times a day, and she wasn't even supposed to be outside except to go potty because of her spay surgery, and we still could not get her to calm downShe wanted to go for walks at am and was so restless she jumped up any time someone moved to go outside for a walk or sit outsideWe could not accomodate this because we have no back yard and no fenced yard for her to run or play inWe explained that she needed a home with someone who was an exercise nut and had a fenced yard or farm for her to run around in or onThey were very unprofessional and treated us less than human for bringing her backInstead of trying to find us another animal that would be the right one for our home, they treated us very poorly, and with extreme attitude as if we were not even human, and as though we would be blacklisted from ever adopting there againWe were promised a refund of the adoption fee of $because we brought Daisy back within the business day return period noted in the contractI tried to get a refund before leaving but was refused by employee *** and told it would be mailed by check in to weeksThankfully I had her give me a copy of the refund paperwork showing they were giving us a refundShe told us we were within this time period and this was the last day to return DaisyWe waited weeks and my husband called when we did not receive the check and the employee lied and said I was lying and that she had told me it would be an additional weeks to print and mail the checkSo he just called back today, weeks later (weeks after returning the dog on March 10)Well, now, *** is refusing to give us any more information on our refund and referred my husband to someone else*** ***'s, who is not answering her phone callsIt looks as though we will have to get in touch with the higher ups to get our refundB/c of the way we were treated we felt we had no choice but to adopt our next rescue from another shelterWe were treated very poorly and less than humanAlso, Daisy was readopted weeks ago, as we checked the website, so not only did they make adoption fees off this dog, they breached the contract in which they promised us a refund of our adoption feeAnd because of their poor treatment cost another animal from being rescued from their facility as we were made to feel as though we were blacklisted from ever adopting there again
