Review: I purchased a 2001 Mercedes Benz CL 500. The suspension was messed up and check engine light was on. I returned the car three days later and received my down payment back from the dealer. I received a call today from Credit Acceptance stating I did not make my payment. Explained that I do not have the vehicle it was returned on January 9, 2015. The dealer never cancelled the contract and he received the money from the bank. I picked up the vehicle on January 6, 2015 and returned it to the dealer on January 9, 2015. I received my down payment back in the form of a check and cashed it on January 9, 2015 at TD Bank in Dover DE after I was off from work. Desired Settlement: I would like for the dealer to contact Credit Acceptance and have the contract cancelled. He needs to return the money that he received from the bank. I would like this to be taken care asap. Thank you.
