We did not "kick the pavers" off our propertyThe pavers were going to move forward with lying the asphalt knowing the gravel, dirt and ground where soaked and the asphalt would not cure properlyMy husband asked that they wait until the ground drys fully before laying the asphaltOne of the workers that was on site even step aside and pulled my husband aside and stated "do not let him (referring to the owner) lay the asphalt because the ground is soaked and it will not cure properly" However the owner was going to move ahead with it anyway until my husband again asked him to wait until the ground drysLike I mentioned before, we waited almost week for the ground to dry, they came laid the asphalt and then hours or so later it rained and we let *** *** know that it rained and if did not cure properly and we began to have issues again he will need to address and fix once again
Lastly, when it was "patched" 4-months earlier than this last time around the guy that pulled by husband aside to tell him to not let them lay the asphalt while the ground was wet was at the first fix and told my husband the ground was wet then when they patched and laid the asphalt that is why it did not hold and we had the problems we had a few months later

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the business and she stated that it was not necessary for the drainage to run under the driveway and the county did not require for it. She stated that the consumers kicked their pavers off the property for them to put the drainage under the driveway before they could pave it.

Hello, the driveway was completed however when the company and [redacted] son (**) arrived on site to repair they only were going to patch the driveway until my husband stepped in and stated that the certain portion of the driveway that was in concern was tore up completed wait for the ground to dry and then return to lay the asphalt. The driveway was tore up, waited about 5-7 days for the dirt/rock to dry and then [redacted] returned on Thursday of last week June 19th to pave. However later that day after the asphalt was laid it rained about 3-4 hours later and has rained 2 days sense being laid. My husband texted [redacted] to let him know that we will not be driving on the portion that was fixed for 7-10 days and we have not to date. My husband also let [redacted] know that it rained about 3 hours after laying the asphalt and we have rain in the forecast. [redacted] replied with we will have to wait and see what happens if it will hold up or not. Also, my husband put in the drainage system at our own expense and on our own time because [redacted] or the paving company refused to after knowing this was the cause of the eroision and problems with the driveway which should have been installed at the time the home was built. [redacted] is aware that if we have problems in the next few months to a year we will request repair again to the drive at his or [redacted] expense until it is done correctly.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the company and she stayed the driveway is having problems because the consumers own their own business and the vehicles they have parked on the driveway are too heavy. [redacted] also stated that the hot water and water pressure issues were completed and sign off on.

Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the company and she stated that the driveway was completed last week.

No there has not been any issues YET. However the driveway is steep and when it does rain it washes all to on area however we ourselves put a drainage system under the driveway. It make take awhile to start seeing issues arise again if the asphalt was not fully dry before it rained. There may be issues in the future AGAIN if it was not done properly and at a depth it should have been laid.
Thanks,

Review: We bought our home brand new from [redacted] with TBC Homes in April 2013. It was in our agreement that there would be a 1 year walk through. The walk through took place on April 17th with ** ([redacted] son). Until today June 5th we have not heard anything back on when the items addressed in the walk through would be taken care of. We finally got a date today of June 17th for the drywall repairs to start. However the hot water heater and the water pressure issue fixes still remain unknown. Another issue is our driveway. We have had issues and poor communication regarding our driveway since fall of last year. I have sent picture and have been in contact with [redacted] since it was POORLY fixed in fall of 2013. Since Feb 2014 I have sent [redacted] pictures and messages asking when someone would be out to fix the driveway before it gets worse. To date I still have no date on when the paving company will be out to fix it. There are SEVERAL cracked, broken and raised asphalt pieces that myself and children trip and fall over daily. Whenever I send [redacted] a message all I get in response is "I know and I have been in contact with the paving company, they are behind and will get to you as soon as they can". At this point it is so bad to where my entire driveway will need to be replaced. In addition to this, the drainage spout from the gutters drains directly onto the driveway. There needs to be a drainage system installed UNDER the driveway for the water to drain properly and not collect onto the driveway. There are several soft spots in the asphalt as well. In closing, I received a letter from [redacted] today stating that the driveway is to be used for residential use only and not commercial. We do not allow our business work trucks or trailers to be parked in our driveway and they are kept off premises mainly. If they are at our house they are parked on the street. This issue started over 9 months ago. I let [redacted] know this and I also let him know I have a lifted truck that is heavy weight and my everyday vehicle, bought 1/16.Desired Settlement: Would like my entire driveway replaced as well as a drainage system put in under to the driveway. The responsibility for payment should either be TBC themselves or the contracted paving company.
