Very disappointed I placed an order in November and was told my item was back ordered and would ship on December 10th That was fine as it was a Christmas gift and I had plenty of time It shipped on time, but has become lost I contacted Thompson for assistance and was told they couldn't help me until December 27th So now I'm left with no Gift and they won't refund my money until after they look into it after Christmas Will not order from them again

Buyer Beware!!! If you order from them you will be unclearly signing up for $monthly fee for a "club" in which you will have to buy $of cigars a month to break even on When you call to cancel the unwanted membership TAKE DOWN THE NAME AND GET A CANCELLATION # or you've wasted your time After buying cigars in Dec I was charge the $a month all of (shame on me) I called in Jan and cancelled but made the mistake of taking their word for it and the charges remained (shame on them) The Revdex.com is just as bad for giving them an A+ with 200+ complaints Write a neg review not a complaint because they apparently don't count Buy from [redacted] they are honest and cheaper

Horrible experience Customer service is terrible with on hold times exceeding minutes The reps are difficult to understand and typically do not even attempt to pronounce the cigar names and or sizes which makes a discussion very difficult I paid extra for 2-day shipping so that I could have my order before I leave on vacation Several items are on backorder even though they state they are in stock on the website The lady on the phone was rude and did not even say bye before she hung up She was noticeably angry because I refused to take their one question survey when I was finished with the call I am unhappy and have been on the phone for half an hour at this point, I do not want a survey I will not be doing business with Thompson Cigars again I gave them a chance several years ago and had a bad experience, I suppose that they will never get it together

I have been ordering cigars and smoking accessories from Thompson Cigar Company almost every month since December I'm in their cigar club for a standing order of boxes of cigars every weeks, and between times take advantage of a good number of their special sales I have never had a bad experience with product, delivery, billing or price during all this time I have found all of their sales representatives to be knowledgeable, and very helpful I have ordered cigars, and prepaid for them, even though their salesman told me at the time they were out of stock Most recently the cigar of the year They have never failed to follow up these back orders, and get the cigars to me in a timely fashion, with no billing, shipping, or order mistakes I am perfectly happy with this company, and I am more than pleased to recommend them to anyone BTW if you happen to get Carlos when you call in an orderHe Knows his Cigars, and you can rely on his recommendations as being worthy of your consideration

Took my credit card info and will not allow me to delete it from the website !! Better not start seeing charges or products being sent without me approval

When reading the reviews on Thompson Cigar, you would think your dealing with the Devil himself, but my experience has been positive overall. I did get caught in the $14.95 club, but one email to customer service and it was removed - It wasn't clear to me what I was signing up for, so this could improved. The constant emails were too much, and they took care of that promptly. The cigars I bought were first class, high quality, and very enjoyable..., and I just bought another box of cigars today - Aging Room F55 Churchill. I would recommend them.

I have used thompson in the past without issue, but after my recent transaction I won't be using them again. After placing the order I received notification that it was received and that I may receive a call for age verification (which I have already done in the past). The call came to my home phone during normal business hours and of course the agent calling leaves at 5pm. After trying to reach the agent numerous times and leaving messages I never hear anything back and it's now been 7 days. The website shows the order still in processing..

I called customer service throughout the process, but since they don't interact with the internet ordering system for whatever reason (in 2016) they cannot even pull up my order number in their system. Finally, I am instructed to call the agent again since there is nothing they can do..

Thomson cigar is the very first place I tried for online cigar shopping. I was pleased (at first) with their selection and willingness to get me my products. after I got a few call from them to ensure I was happy and all set up is when the problems began. They continued to not have what I ordered online in stock and suggested an slight upsale. I fell into that trap a few times. When they called it was always someone that I could not understand and always trying to sell me these memberships. The more they called the worst the accent got. Then the [redacted] hit the fan when I received cigars in the mail that I never ordered! I logged into my account and found that I was signed up for ALL the possible cigar clubs possible charging me over $100 a month!!! When I tried to call customer service was a nightmare as it just loops you around and around (totally automated). So now I've got now choice but to send a certified letter of cancellation the their address in Florida. I will NEVER deal with them again. This in unacceptable business practices and just plain dirty and shady.

I have never had a bad experience with product, delivery, billing or price during all this time. I have found all of their sales representatives to be knowledgeable, and very helpful. I have ordered cigars, and prepaid for them, even though their salesman told me at the time they were out of stock. Most recently the 2015 cigar of the year. They have never failed to follow up these back orders, and get the cigars to me in a timely fashion, with no billing, shipping, or order mistakes. I am perfectly happy with this company, and I am more than pleased to recommend them to anyone. BTW if you happen to get Carlos when you call in an order..... He Knows his Cigars, and you can rely on his recommendations as being worthy of your consideration.
