I am rejecting this response because:I am not asking for your dealership to be responsible for wear of my truck but I would like for dealership to be responsible for the services I entrusted your company to provide As my original complaint stated, I brought my truck in to have head gasket replaced and minor maintenance done The invoices are provided & you have copies on file I brought my truck to your dealership at least times after the initial repairments due to the initial service was not properly done that caused other issues with my truck I understand my truck is years old and had 143,when I originally brought it in to your dealership but that is not the issue as my truck and air was working fine minus head gasket and minor maintenance work It was until your service workers started working on my truck taking apart different things causing other problemsThere was several times I brought my truck back after being serviced there and was told nothing was wrong only to be stranded on side of the road several times Also while my truck was being repaired at your dealership my truck programmer was stolen in which I filed a police report As stated I have spent over $for repairs and truck is still not working as it was when I originally brought it in to your dealer, I had to get another truck due to my truck not properly working as previously and having to leave it at your service deptfor weeks at a time to correct work that was previously done and still not working as it was I have even experienced during the times that I brought my truck in at least other customers having to bring their vehicles back numerous times for work not done correctly and I have spoken with several other customers that has had this same experience with your service department I would like for your dealership to own up to your negligence and compensate me to have repairs done correctly Most recent invoice regarding air conditioner In Oct dealer said evaporator core needed be replaced now they are saying it compressorAgain air was working fine prior to being repaired for other repairments

All repairs done on at our dealership has a two year warranty on any parts and labor. On every complaint that Mr. [redacted] came in on after the work was completed was looked at and fixed if needed at no cost to him. Mr. [redacted] was told by our Service Manager that since the customer had put a programmer on his vehicle that the programmer could void any warranty on any of the work we did. To address the air condition issue, Al Meyer Ford charged the AC back in November 2016 and we haven't heard anything else about it until April 10, 2017. We tested the AC unit and the compressor failed internally. Charging the AC correctly would not effect any internal parts if it is gauged properly by a trained technician with proper equipment. Mr, [redacted] indicated himself that he added Freon to the AC. If it was not monitored correctly and the system was over charged with Freon that could cause a failure on the AC components.

To Al Meyer Ford,I am rejecting this response because:Al Meyer states that by putting programmer on truck could void out any warranties. Yes when the dealer went back in to redo what the first technician messed up the parts that I had previously purchased were covered under warranty but does not ensure it was fixed properly. And since the dealer keeps bringing up about the programmer, it was an employee at the dealer who told me what programmer to buy and the programmer was placed on my truck there at the dealership by the  employee who initially serviced my truck and  is no longer employed there.  However later my programmer was stolen while my truck was there at the dealership in which they say they are not responsible for.   As for the air conditioner at that time Freon was not put it the ac,  I brought it back to dealership in November for servicing it states on invoice Freon needed to be placed and yes it was not brought back in until April because my wife brought it in because I'm tired off going back and forth with your dealership. Your dealer say its the compressor but if so why does it blow cold sometimes after being charged?  If it was the compressor it would blow cold at all.  I feel there is a leak due to something your dealer did not properly connect or replace after servicing my truck, as previously mentioned my air was working just fine prior to your dealer servicing my truck.  As I stated earlier I brought my truck in only to have head gasket replaced and minor servicing, it was your dealer that caused other  issues and I spent over $6000 at your dealership (I have bank statements to prove that) and every time I brought my truck back to your dealer it was always something else caused by your inexperienced worker. I do work full time and was tired of back and forth with your dealer over issues that your dealership caused.  I end up having to buy me a new truck 9/2016.  I had no intention on buying a new truck that's why I brought it in to your dealership for servicing. Do you honestly think I would have spent over $6000 on repairs only to have to go buy another truck when I could have just spent that money on my new truck??  Your dealership damaged my truck and I need your dealership to be responsible for it.Regards,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:Al Meyer Ford claims to have done what was reasonably required of them, yet when my vehicle was returned to us, it was barely even drive-able.  To top that off they even returned it to us with no gas in it, even though it had a little over half a tank when it was drop off to them, yet I was told I needed to fill up their loaner, which I did. I do agree that this was all a very unfortunate incident, but it was more unfortunate at how Al Meyer Ford handled the situation.  They are what we believed to be a reputable company, but we see know that just isn't the case.  They returned my vehicle to me knowing it was unsafe to drive, yet they didn't care. In this whole situation all I ever asked out of them was to treat us fairly, and to handle this situation the way they would want it handled if this would have happened to them.

I have enclosed the Case number and documentation that was set up through Ford when the customer contacted them with their concern and what we did resolve the issue. We did provide the customer with the proper paper work and we did acknowledge the fact that a mistake was made and we did correct...

the issue. We also what to acknowledge the fact that when the customer brought up seeking legal counsel we were not longer able to speak with them without our attorney. Please let us know if we need to do anything else to satisfy Revdex.com. Thank you,[redacted]AL Meyer Ford[redacted]

Al Meyer Ford repaired four issues totaling $3,010.67 in repairs that we did not charge the customer, plus we checked an additional concern and we waved the diagnostic fee.  I would like to point out that this vehicle is 10 years old and has 150,000 plus miles on it. Al Meyer Ford can't be...

responsible for normal issues that occur over time.

On July 11, 2017 Mrs [redacted] brought in a 2010 Ford Mustang for an airbag recall. The parts needed to perform this recall were not is stock and would need to be ordered. The customer was notified and indicated that they would pick up the vehicle and return it when the parts for the recall...

arrived. On that same day, one of our service advisers released this vehicle to an individual who was not authorized to pick the vehicle up. At that time the customer was provided with a complimentary loaner vehicle until this matter was resolved. Two days later we were notified that the vehicle had been located in Nacogdoches, about 20 miles from the dealership. The vehicle was delivered to the dealership via wrecker that same day. An inspection of the vehicle was performed and some mirror repairs were made. It is important to note that we had no way of knowing if any of these conditions existed due to the vehicle being 7 years old with over 100,000 miles. A copy of the repairs are enclosed. We are also enclosing the write up that was done on the vehicle at the time it was dropped off for the airbag recall.I would call your attention to the bottom right hand section of this document as acknowledged by the customer regarding personal belongings. This was a very unfortunate incident and we deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused Mrs. [redacted]. Unfortunately we realize that the outcome is obviously not what Mrs. [redacted] was looking for. We have delivered all copies and documentation pertaining to this matter to our attorney and any future actions will need to be resolved via the legal system.
