Review: I have taken three pairs of men's slacks to be cleaned at Thompson II Cleaners. The first two pairs had holes in them after being dry cleaned and the owner stated the problem was not with their company. I was informed the problem may be carpet beetles or some other insect/bug attaracted to wool. I paid for Ehrlich to come out and inspect my home and was informed I had no problem in the house and the technician said I should speak with the dry cleaner as he believed the problem was at the store and he had seen that happen before. I spoke with the owner who said the problem was not in his store and he did not offer any credit or reimbursement for the damage. I purchased three new pairs of slacks and started frequenting three other cleaners. Unfortunately had worse service at other nearby cleaners and decided to go back to Thompson II Cleaners. After the 2nd dry cleaning of the newer pants I experienced the same problem and advised the owner that when I brought the pants in they were fine and the morning I tried them on they had holes in them. He again explained the problem wasn't in his store. When asked why would I not have had holes when I brought them in only to find them when I picked the slacks back up, to which he had no real answer. I asked the owner if he was going to try and make the situation right as I was now out three pairs of men's dress slacks to which he responded no.Desired Settlement: I have since purchased a replacement pair of slacks from the same store I bought the damaged slacks from. I was able to take advantage of a sale where if you buy 1 pair of slcaks the other two pairs are free. The cost for the first pair was $225 plus $22 for alterations. I would like to be reimbursed for the sale price of the one pair of slacks including alterations to replace the damaged pair and agree to not use the store's services again. The cash refund I would like is $82.00. (225 + 22 = 247 / 3 = 82)
