In response to the complaint filed against me I have copied the most recent email I sent to  Ms. [redacted] below.
Please note that Ms....

[redacted]' accusations to the Revdex.com are false and incomplete.  Her Job was a remodel and changed scope several time based on her budget and her indecisiveness.  In the beginning of our work relationship I noticed that she was unstable, and never had a set of plans, she was difficult, and unorganized and changed the design daily.  After a week on the job I sent her an email stating that I was not comfortable working for her any longer.  She asked to meet with me and I thought we were at an understanding of the scope.  Against my better judgement, I decided to go through with the job.  She also told me she was running out of money to complete this job and wanted to know if I could accept credit cards.  I worked for her for over 4 weeks and completed the project.  Ms. [redacted] was to contact me when she returned from vacation for a walk through and final payment.  She never contacted me until I emailed her about payment.  After a week past she finally contacted me refusing to pay and said she contacted a lawyer and contractor to fix the work I did.  I asked her for a list of what she was referring to and she said her lawyer would send it to me.  She also said her lawyer would be in touch and not to contact her/"harass" her.   That was 13 days ago and I have not received any list.

Ms. [redacted]' complaints are without merit, incorrect and unfounded.  This only appears to be an attempt to not pay her bill.  I would warn other contractors to not get involved with this person.  Thor Flooring has been in business since 1998 and I have been a contractor since that time too.  I have hundreds of happy and satisfied clients and take pride in my work.  I am sorry I ever did any business with Ms. [redacted].  I will attempt to collect payment and hope this complaint is erased from Revdex.com.
Thank you,

Dear [redacted],

In
regard to our conversation via text on October 10th, I am contacting
you again to request the list of items you claim need to be fixed or are
out of code.

To date, you have not yet provided me with any
list of items that need to be fixed or any proof of your out-of-code
accusations.    The balance owed from this job is $4638.00, Invoice #
103, which is now 22 days past due.  Thor Flooring has and will always
stand behind all of our work.  I am happy to review any areas of your
concern.

If I have done any work out-of-code,or not to your
satisfaction, you are required by law to allow me to review and fix said
items.  Since the beginning of our work relationship I have gone out of
my way to try to make you happy.  I gave you a  discount on the
stairwell painting ($100), switched your kitchen slider, added a ceiling
fan in your living room, added a switch for your crawl space light,
provided a lock box for your cabinet installers, demoed out your
downstairs bathroom and painted your downstairs bathroom, and also
painted all of your ceilings (in the entire house).  All of this was
done for FREE which could have easily costs you more than $4,000 in
labor and materials.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you,

[redacted]

Dear Revdex.com:
It is evident that Ms. [redacted] is simply looking for ways to avoid paying the balance due to Thor Flooring for $4638.00.  We have taken all accountability for our work and have followed all code regulations.  Ms. [redacted] is delusional in her claims.  I have filed a mechanics lien on her residence for balance due to Thor Flooring.
I have requested from Ms. [redacted] (several times), a list of items she claims need to be fixed or are out of code.  She claims in her message to consumers that she has a written confirmation from "a licensed builder" that work done by us was not to code.  I have still, not to this day been given a list or any written proof of out-of-code work done on the part of Thor Flooring or have I been contacted by any attorney representing Ms. [redacted] as she threatened.
Ms. [redacted] continues to slander my person and my business through the Revdex.com.  She is required by law to provide Thor Flooring the opportunity to fix what she has any issues with and to provide my company with a list of said items.  Because of her refusal to do so, I believe all of her allegations to be false.  I contacted my bond company and they informed me that there has not been a claim made against Thor Flooring.  Please also note that her first attempt to go after my bond was for breach of contract - which was false.  The job was done.  She failed and so she has now changed her complaint.  This is clearly just  an attempt to not pay for work that has been done.
Again, Ms. [redacted]'s complaints are without merit.  It is sad that there are people out there who take advantage of good quality contractors to avoid payment.  I stand by my work and have done so since 1998.  This complaint is unfounded and upsetting especially since there has been no proven fault done by Thor Flooring, Inc.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
