Thor said that they wanted us completely satisfied and would like to fix my rusty 2019 Thor outlaw 37rb they picked the place to take it to be repaired after countless emails. The rust protection is peeling off like wet tape on bottom Jamie R said “ ok take coach back to dealer Florida outdoors rv and take care of this quickly but then only approved enough time to paint side rust and not touch bottom. Then I talked to Julie d*** she said have Florida outdoors give me an estimate but then they keep ignoring me not getting my coach fixed pushing me closer to end of my warranty in April. My coach is devalued by at least 60,000 dollars because of dealers and delivery driver negligence to wash road salt off chassis which caused this in first place. I’m within my 1 year of warranty and have been told by 3 Thor employees to get estimates and have rust fixed but it never happens.

Good Afternoon,

Representatives from TMC's Customer Service Dept. spoke with the customer yesterday (3/11) regarding the listed concerns. Customer has an appointment for the 23rd of March.

Thank you.

I purchased *** in September of 2018 I took it in for some warranty issues the dealer I purchased it from made a list of the problems and told us thy would call us when the parts where in .We took the RV out and found more things wrong so we called the dealer thy told us to email us the list we did in July before the warranty was up (it is a one year warranty) The dealer called and said we could drop it off in October to get it fixed we were goin on a trip and couldn't get it in until late November at that time the dealer had the parts for the fist fix and said that thy would try to get the parts for the new list the new list was denied at that time we were told the warranty was up and we should of got it in before the warranty was up even know thy had the list before it was up. I emailed *** and even called them and thy told me it is my fault I didn't get it in .

Your thoughts

Good Afternoon,

The customer spoke with one of our retail representatives on January 21, 2019 to discuss his concerns. TMC's 1- year Limited Warranty expired on September 5, 2018. At this time, TMC stands behind their decision to deny warranty coverage due to the amount of time since the warranty expired.

Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:

I called *** and he still feels that the warranty was out even after I told him that they had the list two months before it was up I told him that the shop called me one Month after it expired I explained I was going on a trip and if I would've known they weren't going to cover it I would've canceled my trip I still feel if somebody has documentation before the warranty is up it should be covered

This is a copy of the letter that I had sent to Thor Motor Home. It was signed for on Oct 22 and I have received no response.

I purchased a 2018 Thor Freedom Traveler on April 28, 2018 from River City Recreation World in Sherwood, Arkansas. The intention of this letter is to inform you of filing a Lemon Law claim with Thor Motor Coach. I purchased my vehicle from River City Recreation World dealership with the assistance of Denise, the sales representative and the manager, Trevor. I had a pleasant experience throughout the purchasing process and I was truly excited to find a new dealership home for my Recreational Vehicle needs.
I have a family of eight, including my husband, myself, four children and two grandchildren, not to mention the puppies that travel with us frequently. My Husband and I went to River City to purchase a replacement light cover for our Class C motor home; As we walked around the show room floor we seen the 2018 Thor Freedom Traveler and absolutely fell in love with the larger Class A that provided newer amenities and additional sleeping room. This was the perfect camper for our growing family along with our approaching retirement. As both my husband and I being disabled combat veterans, it is also very important that we found a vehicle that was comfortable enough to accommodate numerous ailments that normally cause us a great deal of pain to get in and out of such a vehicle. Unfortunately, we have not been able to enjoy our new motor coach, but instead have been sitting at home planning future vacations while the vehicle has been in the shop.
Since the original delivery of the motor coach, it has been in for service a total of eight times. Our vehicle has been out of service for repairs for a total of 120 days and counting, which is more than two-thirds of the total time of ownership. We have had numerous trips to the dealership, along with following the advice from your customer service to take it to a second dealer for repairs. We have spent countless hours at the service department of River City Recreation talking to Michael and Camping World talking to Greg about possible solutions to the electrical issues and why the generator is still not working. These meetings and subsequent drive times between the facilities have had a detrimental impact on our ability to meet our obligations to our employers.
I have attached a detailed list of service dates and defects. The dates are exactly as they are on the work orders from each visit. I have tried to reach out to several people for assistance, between River City Recreation, Camping World, and Thor customer service, but the problems are not getting fixed; this inability to correctly diagnose the issues and correctly fix the deficiencies has created undue stress and burden for our family.
These nonconformities substantially impair my use, the market value or safety of my vehicle.
We continue to have electrical issues along with generator malfunctions with our current unit; from the Pre-Delivery Inspection to present day we do not feel safe when driving or staying in your product. The cargo door was misaligned and opened while traveling down the interstate. When the Entry door step malfunctioned I sustained an injury due to the electrical failure that is requiring me to be seen by an Orthopedic Surgeon while dealing with undue additional pain and suffering.

I am rejecting this response because:they have not resolved the issue, just asked for additional information.

We bought a new *** at the motorhome show in Cleveland Ohio in January of 2017 and picked it up at General RV in Akron Ohio in February of 2017 we've had the motorhome a little over a year and a half we have had numerous problems with it and had it into General RV to repair more times than I can count. there were no manuals on this unit that came with it some of the manuals that came with it we're back from 2013 on a different unit. The steps malfunctioned 4 times by coming out when the motor was started and retracting when parked we had to disconnect them in order to drive and use a ladder to enter and exit the home. the refrigerator quit working three times we lost everything in the refrigerator and freezer the water heater was put in crooked and water lines were cramped and it leaked the wall in the bathroom is crooked and shower door will not close completely causing water to run under cabinets and into diesel engine compartment it was in to be fixed twice for that and it's still not right the wall between the bedroom in the half-bath is not nailed down and moves causing the bathroom door to fly open and bang into the refrigerator denting it. the side view mirrors / cameras came loose and we had to stop in West Virginia to fix them they're heavy around 20 lb each and if they had come off they could have killed someone, we were told by the garage that repaired them that they were put on poorly there was no bolt to hold them and they had put them through the fiberglass we called national highway safety board and also reported this to Thor and Thor never reimbursed us nor replied. General RV had our motorhome for about 2 months waiting for the refrigerator repair and parts, the transmission locked up twice the second time they replaced the alternator.we have an electrical problem no outlets are working.,a Battery Post is melted on one battery we've had numerous leaks the main shower leaked the kitchen sink lines leaked the half-bath leaked. the rear air conditioner is not working and this is the second time when it was being serviced for something else they found the air conditioner not working.. we've had trouble with the slides not wanting to come in the awning would not retract. There has been so many problems and it has been in the garage for such a length of time that we have not really had time to enjoy this or use it every time we take a trip something happens and we have to come back without completing it costing us wasted fuel and time we have lost a lot of money on cancelled reservations we've wasted money on fuel because we've had to turn around and come back. we've lost large amounts of money on replacing all the food in the freezer and refrigerator after having to throw everything out.I could go on but I think I've said enough.
