Upfront but dishonest and unhelpful
Horribly inefficient. I asked them if they specialized in Business Method application. they danced around the answer (4-5 week process back and forth) . I asked for one example of successful Business method patent they obtained. They could NOT produce one example. They sent me to many examples of physical or utility patents. But NO BUSINESS METHOD. Finally they told me to go with someone else. If I was the owner I would fire the sales guy. Im glad I didnt spend any money with them

My  apologies.  I  did  not  have  complete  information  when I  filed  this  complant..I  contacted  my  credit  card  company,  they  stated  that  there  were  no  charges  or   refusals   for  this  amount  on  my  account.I  then  contacted  [email protected],  followed  up  with  a  contact   to  [email protected].  There  I  was  able  to  view  the  documents                         submitted  to   them.  The  credit  card  #  was  not  the  account  I  thought  it  was. November 7, 2014In response to the referenced complaint, please review the following:1) The complaint was opened by the customer due to a misunderstandinga. The customer erroneously believed that the provisional patent application we filed for the client can be found in a public...

patent database. Provisional patent applications cannot be found in public databases by nature of law. Therefore, when the customer asked a third party to look up the patent number, the third party likely erroneously pulled up another inventor’s full patent which caused confusion with the Customer. 2) The customer did not attempt to resolve the issue with us directly before opening this complaint.a. The customer did not contact us to discuss her concerns before filing this complaint. Had shedone so, we would have quickly cleared her misunderstandings and provided evidence that the provisional patent application she requested was in fact properly filed.
3) We have since talked to the customer to resolve her concerns since she filed the complainta. On November 6, 2014, I personally reached out to the customer and left a voicemail asking her toreach out to me to discuss any questions or concerns
b. On November 6, 2014, Customer called our company and spoke to her consultant, [redacted] explained to her the facts:i. The provisional patent application cannot be searched in a public data
ii. The provisional patent application was successfully filed and we have a patent application and confirmation number
4) The work Customer paid for was performed completely and successfullya. The Customer requested preparation and filing of a provisional patent application. This was completed on October 20, 2014 with provisional patent application number **/[redacted]. The confirmation documents are herewith attached. The actual content of the patent application is confidential information and has been removed from the attachment.
5) The misunderstanding with the Customer should be cleared at this point. I have sent a followup email to the Customer providing my direct contact information for any remaining questions or concerns she may have. I have further kindly asked her to close this Revdex.com complaint due to the misunderstanding of patent application facts.

In reference to complaint ID [redacted], the Customer's complaint is inaccurate and unwarranted. Please find the following supporting information.

First, and foremost, the Customer states "this company never submitted to the Patent office". This is inaccurate as Customer's invention was submitted to the US Patent Office for a patent application on May 2, 2013. The customer requested filing a provisional patent application with the US Patent Office. The following pages 2-4 are confirmation documents from the US Patent Office which confirm that the patent application was successfully filed on May 1, 2013, with application number [redacted] in the name of [redacted] of [redacted], GA.

Review: I paid Thoughts to paper to protect my idea my two inventions. After I received my paper stating my patent was filed, I proceeded to shop it for licensing. After a week I had someone interested, I gave them the paper I received from Thoughts to paper they looked up patent and it isn't even mine patent, so now that person has took my patent and filed themselves.Desired Settlement: I want the money that I was selling my two inventions for due to false documents given by the company
