Review: We hired the Three American Boys Tree service to remove a tree in our backyard. In doing so, they damaged our deck and said they licensed, bonded, and insured but would come back to repair it. They did not show up and when I called they said the lumber yard was out of the lumber they use and that they'd come back ASAP. They never showed. TWo days later I called to check in on that and the stump they were supposed to grind out, and they said their grinder was broken. Since then we've tried to get in touch at least 5 times and they refuse to answer the phone. We've gone to the insurance company with whom they claim to be insured. The insurance rep doesn't have record of their policy but says that it's so new, they may actually be insured. The company will not speak to her either and now claims they don't speak English. We are so frustrated and can't figure out why they won't fix their damage.Desired Settlement: I want them to pay for the damage to our deck or come fix it as promised originally. I have photos and written proof that they acknowledge they did the damage.

Review: Three American Boys Tree Service came to my home to provide an estimate. The estimator walked around the property while the crew and their 2 children stayed by the truck. After negotiating an agreed upon price for all of the work we went inside the home to write up the contract. Two checks were written, one for $900 for the services and the other $25 for [redacted] estimating fee. They came back on Monday to do the job. I was at work and my husband was at home. He was not there during the estimate, so he believed what they told him that afternoon to be true. They completed all of the work, however, they left the stump in our front yard after cutting down the tree and told my husband they would be back in a few days to remove it. That was over 4 weeks ago. The stump is STILL in my front yard. They have NEVER returned a call or text. They cashed my checks immediately without completing the most important and expensive part of the service. We are now in violation of our HOA regulations and will be responsible for paying a fine. Every time I call and someone does answer they apologize, make some excuse about how they had a grinder but it broke down and will be out over the weekend to take care of it. Well, 4 weekends have passed and the stump is still there. They took my money and ran. I have spoken to the estimator, the owner, and a lady answered yesterday promising that she would call back. She did not. I offered them water and the kids lemonade during the estimate. Red requested liquor because he doesn't drink water and he wasn't driving. He asked my husband for more [redacted] on Monday when they came to do the job. The stump needs to be removed and they need to provide some type of additional yard service to accommodate for the HUGE inconvenience and fine we are going to have to pay. If they are not going to finish the job then I want a refund to cover the fine and cost of having a trustworthy professional come out to complete the job.Desired Settlement: Finish the job or I want a refund to cover the fine and cost of having a trustworthy professional come out to do it for them.
