Revdex.com of Eastern MA,Three Limes Inc (DBA Purple Carrot) received a reply to the above referenced complaint via mail today.I investigated the incident further - and the customer's account was successfully cancelled on 1/This was the same day that the cancellation steps were sent(An email a few days prior on 1/asked to change the email address for their account; but not for a cancellation.) As mentioned previously, their account was cancelled on 1/as requested, which was past the deadline for the 1/shipment(Our deadline is as stated, the Tuesday before a shipment as we need to report order count to our providers.) Additionally, per our internal policy, this customer received a $credit ($25, and then an additional $25) for the ingredient issues that occurred. The payments from this customer for goods they received is as follows:Shipment delivered 1/23: $72Shipment delivered 1/30: $(with the $credit applied)As the customer received & kept these orders, no further refund has been issued on our endThis customer received and kept goods that we sent out to them; we issued a discount with the credits, however the remaining portion is for the items that they received and kept.Please let me know if you require any further information to close out this issue.Thank you,*** ***

Revdex.com of Eastern MA,Three Limes Inc (DBA Purple Carrot) received the above referenced complaint via mail on Friday.I investigated the incident referenced in the letter - and this customer was in contact, as stated, with our team on 1/23, 1/24 & 1/25.Their account was cancelled on 1/24 as requested, which was past the deadline for the 1/30 shipment. (Our deadline is as stated, the Tuesday before a shipment as we need to report order count to our providers.) Additionally, per our internal policy, this customer received a $50 credit ($25, and then an additional $25) for the ingredient issues that occurred. The payments from this customer for goods they received is as follows:Shipment delivered 1/23: $72Shipment delivered 1/30: $22 (with the $50 credit applied)As the customer received & kept these orders, no further refund is necessary on our end. However, as a courtesy, I've refunded the remaining $22 charge to their credit card on file for the 1/30 delivery. This will appear on their end within the next few business days.Thank you,[redacted]

I first called this company about an issue with my order on January 23, 2018, to which I never received a call back. I then sent them a message on [redacted] asking for a call back. No call back. Then I get a message from them stating "sorry" we have credited you $25 toward your next order for this mishap. On January 24, 2018, I sent an email to Purple Carrot requesting to cancel immediately. I tried to do this on my own accord via my account page on their site, but found this option unavailable. Also on the same day, I emailed "[redacted]" with the following question-  Is it possible to return what was sent to me? I would rather not incur a charge for something that was not fully delivered upon. This question was never answered by Purple Carrot. I would have been happy to comply. I did receive the following response, on January 25th.All correspondence have been saved.

I would have cancelled my subscription at an earlier time, if contact from a representative was not necessary. In fact, I attempted to cancel on my own accord, once I realized the persisting issue had resurfaced. However, I needed a form to complete prior to cancellation which apparently must be supplied by a rep.
