I took our Labradoodle in for a grooming appointment on 3/10/2020. We had used this business on 2 other occasions (nail trim and hair cut), without issue. I had instructed the groomer prior to the visit that we wanted to do a traditional Labradoodle cut (shorter, more detailed cut). I reiterated that, at the actual drop off. I also made clear instructions that if grooming *** proved challenging (he had been going through separation anxiety after our Lab passed in January), to call me and I would pick him up, immediately. His appointment was at 9am. I was called at 12:27pm stating he was ready for pick up. I arrived approximately 10 minutes later. I immediately noticed that he was very docile (not normal behavior for our 2 year old Labradoodle). I paid the grooming fee of $60 and a $10 tip, as I always do. It wasn’t until I got home that I noticed the underside of ***. He had gouges and nicks from his neck to his rear. His legs had gouge marks. He had razor burn, in numerous places, including between his eyes. My husband was working out of town so I waited until the evening hours, so he could see what happened. We had discussed that the groomer would be contacted first thing in the morning, with pictures. I messaged the groomer at 10:37am on 3/11/2020. I simply asked what happened and forwarded numerous pictures. The message and pictures were viewed in the early afternoon (3/11) and they have yet to respond.

In response to the complaint regarding *** there will be no refund the lady was extremely happy when she picked her dog up. She tipped me $20. On black dogs with white skin sometimes it does not look smooth underneath because the hair is so fine. the job was not hurtful or harmful in anyway to the pet. The owner was just very unhappy with the way it looked so there will be no refund and if this complaint wants to be filed against me then I’ll except it because I did nothing wrong the dog received two baths and a deep conditioning There was not a problem with the room except for underneath the dogs stomach and that was just due to the texture of the hair and how close it was but there was no razor no nothing sorry for the inconvenience to the Revdex.com for half and put up with people like her

I am rejecting this response because: My dog still refuses to be groomed as he was utterly traumatized! The owner did not do the grooming nor did she acknowledge me when I picked up my dog. She was grooming another dog and visiting with another person. These people should not be in business, if this is how they run it. I want this complaint on file to save another person from going through what we went through!
