Review: I talked to Amy at 3 Rivers Transportation and set up services for my wedding day. I rented 2 cars, round trip. One for 2 people and one for 5 people, so I explained it would need to be a van. On my wedding day they failed to show up at the end of the night to pick up the 5 people (my elderly mother-in-law, 2 adults, and 2 children ages 5 and 6), so we had to wait for 1 and a half hours until the one driver dropped off the first group and came back to pick up the second group (not what I had set up with Amy in the first place). We spoke with the driver of the first car on the phone to ask if they knew anything about the second car since it was taking so long and they first said that they didn't know anything about it. The second time we called they then stated that they were responsible for the second group as well. My mother in law is elderly and suffers from chronic back and neck pain and was put through this. I didn't have a car to drive her, and I had already paid 378 dollars for this service. They couldn't the wedding venue because we were there waiting for this car service, so 2 employees had to stay there with us. The driver showed up at 10:30pm and did not have a van, so one of the kids had to go on the lap. Isn't this against the law?!? The owner of this business is a lawyer, but he doesn't care. I called to complain and they offered me 50 dollars back or a 75 dollar credit towards another ride (like if I'm ever going to use them again!). I thought it was unacceptable. Amy then stated that she did not have the information that the transportation was for 5 people, even though I was the one that set it up with her. I had paid for a hotel that I didn't get to enjoy because I was delayed 2 hours and had to be up early in the morning. They didn't care about that. They didn't care about my mother-in-law having to sit there waiting for 1 and half hours. I ended up getting 150 dollars back, but I wanted all my money back.Desired Settlement: I would like a $378.78 refund as the company did not perform the services we paid them for and they put our family through a lot of stress.

Review: I initially contacted this company to arrange for a car service to pick up my pregnant wife from her office downtown and bring her back to the place we were staying (2.5 miles away) while she finished up an internship at a local law firm. At first, three rivers was very accommodating, explaining that they would have a car waiting at 6pm each day for the remaining 2 weeks we were in town and that the cost was $400. There was no further explanation of any cancellation policy, refund policy, or any policies, just a total amount of $400. I agreed and made payment up front. On the first day, at 6:15pm, I received a call from my pregnant wife stating that the driver was lost and wouldn't be there for another hour. Instead of having my pregnant wife standing in the 90+ degree heat for an additional hour, I contacted three rivers who sent another driver. 20 minutes later, a small, compact, dirty, Saab showed up to pick up my wife and bring her back to our rental. I made it very clear that we were contracting for a towncar or similar upon the initial agreement, not some local employees personal vehicle and found this to be completely unacceptable. Also unacceptable was the original driver's lack of direction. After this debacle, I called my point of contact, [redacted], at Three Rivers who apologized for the mix up and said it wouldn't happen again. I thanked her for her kindness but cancelled the remaining trips and asked for a refund less money for services provided. She informed me that "due to our contractual agreement" they can not issue any refund because that is their policy and we "were in the middle of a contract." I was never informed of any policies or even signed any sort of contract that would dictate or outline such a policy. I was issued a credit for $300 and have been given the runaround since with refusal on the company's part to be contacted by ownership. Excuses given have been: Owner is away, wife is pregnant, dad died...all at once and won't speak with me.Desired Settlement: I have been issued a $300 credit for future services. I would like a refund of $350 as $50 is more than generous for a one time ride, 2.5 miles away. We are not from Pittsburgh and cannot use a $300 credit for future services.
