Customer was informed that rebate would be mailed and it was mailed 8/22/The check issued was/ is for $To cover initial rebate and the cost of wiper blades that were not in stock at the time work was completedI was in the middle of moving my home and businessThe tardiness of rebate is acknowledged and has been addressedI apologized to the customer (MrRufus W***) I advised him of the situations that had arisen with my business and personal lifeThese things happen periodicallyIn hindsight I should have explained the situation to him prior to taking on this jobAt this point issue has been addressed on our endAnd further questions, etcPlease feel free to call my cell [redacted] Thank you, Walter B [redacted] / owner Alpha Auto Glass and T [redacted] ***

On 3/11/we replaced the windshield on Greg M*** *** **Approximately days later he called me concerned about his rain sensor not working properly and having issues with the headlightsUpon consulting with MrM*** we agreed to go back out there the following week 3/and
replace the rain sensor.Upon getting to the residence my technician inspected the rain sensor for defects, etcand nothing remarkableThe rain sensor in his opinion was properly installed and functionalHe replaced it anyway, as per customers' request.Approximately, months went by and MrM*** called meAgain concerned about the same issue(s)Rain sensor not functional and headlights not functioning properlyI had advised him of the nearest *** *** located in ***, AZI assured MrM*** that if we were found to be at fault, I would reimburse him for any expenses incurred. On July 17th MrM*** brought the vehicle to be diagnosed at *** ***Upon inspection of the vehicle, it was found that the rain sensor was fully functional.Thereby removing us from any further liabilityUpon further inspection of the vehicle it was found that the reason/cause for the electrical issue with the headlights, etcwas actually caused by a faulty/failed fuseFuses are parts that fail and a part that should be checked periodically. Windshield replacement does not cause fuses to be blown out or defective. MrM*** subsequently traded in the vehicle on about 7/17/15On November 4th, Mr M*** called me and stated that they had vehicle serviced and they were seeking reimbursement for the damages we had allegedly caused to his vehicleI had advised at that point that I had consulted with the service technician and manager at *** *** and it was found that we were not at fault and should not be held liable for a blown/defective fuseHe stated it was $to repair the vehicle, and I told him what the dealership found and that we could not be responsible for it, as windshield replacement does not effect headlights or fuses.A little later that same day a woman called saying that she was Greg's wife and was seeking reimbursement for service work done to the ***I had advised her at that time that we were not liable or responsible for blown fusesShe said," well it was $to fix itIt isn't a big dealWhy can't we just split it? " I assumed she meant that she was asking me to reimburse her half of the $at that pointI explained what the dealership discovered and told her we cannot be responsible for blown fuses, etcShe got a little argumentative and abusive on the phoneI wished her a nice day and disconnected
