Initial Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2015/05/01) */
When the customer purchased the Truck, the items we promised to fix that are stated on the due bill are as follows: CD Player and Door Handle Molding ONLY. When the customer brought the car in to take care of due bill items, the customer told...

us about the truck needing alignment and also about a small oil leak. After we took care of due bill items: Replaced radio system & door Handle Molding. We also took care of the alignment and oil leak as a courtesy. They later returned and told us about a squeak on the front end of the suspension. We had the suspension inspected, and our Auto Technician advised us to lubricate the suspension because the truck has a 2 inch lift all the way around. We explained this to [redacted], and also told him that if we were to remove the spacers, the truck would be lowered. He agreed to leave the spacers to keep the truck with the 2 inch lift.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/05/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept their response. We never mentioned anything about the alignment. The only courtesy they did us was parking the truck in their lot pretending to take care of the oil leak and the squeak in the suspension while driving. The truck is still leaking oil and squeaking while driving. I had never agreed to keep the car with the squeaking suspension, they had given me no other choice.
Final Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2015/05/27) */
We spoke to customer, [redacted], regarding the oil leak and the squeaking. He agreed to come in next monday (June 1st 2015) at 10am, to get the oil leak fixed. I also spoke to the customer regarding the squeak, and asked him if he recalled our conversation regarding this issue, he remembered that the squeak was due to the lifted suspension kit. I told him I was going to get a second opinion regarding a solution to this matter.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 22, 2015/06/24) */
Three Star Auto Sales did partially fix our truck, they repair the oil leak, but not the squeakiness in the suspension as they had said. We also asked for an invoice for the repair in which they said they would call us later. We never received a call.
