refund the 10/30/15 bill for 55.54 as well as the 03/05/16 bill for 119.80 for a total of 175.34 by the tone of the complaint I am relatively certain nothing will make the customer happy however I feel this is the right thing to do because the same work plus other items were redone by [redacted] who we trust and have a good relationship with

This is my response to the business:
[redacted] replaced the solenoid because they said it was bad. I told them that it was recently cleaned by Arrowhead BP and asked did it just need to have another cleaning. They then explained to me that there is no way to clean the solenoid. Also, that the solenoid in my car needed to be replaced and showed to evidence of being repaired. Based on what they explained, I do not see how the charges on 5/29/15 for an EGR Solenoid repair (diagnostic,parts, and labor) can be a valid charge. So, an offer less the amount of 147.51 for the above charge is not justifiable. Based on the information provided by [redacted] and the results after there repairs compared to those of Arrowhead BP, I do feel that I am entitled to a full refund in the amount of 322.85. However, as a sign of good faith and to draw an end to this lengthy issue. I would be willing to accept an offer of the requested amount less the labor charge of 55.54 on 10/30/15. That would reduce my the amount that I am requesting for a refund from 322.85 to $267.31.

My apologize if I gave the impression in my last response that I was open to further negotiations. The intentions of my last response was to avoid any additional haggling of the reimbursement amount. The amount of $267.31 that I agreed to take in lue of the owed amount of $322.85 was presented in an effort to draw an immediate conclusion to this issue. It was clearly stated in my previous response of why I am due the full amount of the original requested price of $322.85. At this point, I feel I have been beyond reasonable through this entire situation that has been going on since March of this year. Not only did I not include the cost of $80.05 for the EGR valve that was replaced per the mechanics recommendation that did not fix the issue. I reduced the labor cost of $55.84 as a good gesture to the amount owed.
Based on your, responses I do not see any evidence of appreciation on my good gesture or reasonableness. So that being said, at this point these are my final offers. If you are not able to agree on the below amounts, I will be more than happy to escalate this to a Mediation Hearing.

I am so thankful that the customer didn't accept my offer I made it based on good faith without checking with my mechanics we owe this man nothing! on 3 5 16 we installed the customers egr valve he purchased from [redacted] on 3 2 16
The solenoid was purchase on may 28th 15 installed and billed on may 29th 15 this part was installed and any suggestion otherwise is simply not true labor warranty is 90 days the part could have
been warrantied if requested sir thank you for not taking my offer I could have added things about you as a customer but I have held my tongue many thanks [redacted] ps we have documentation on part if needed
