Review: On 3/14/14 I shopped at the thrift town location in Carmichael, CA and purchased a very expense Tory Burch sweater which was originally priced at $79.99, however they had a half off sale day so I was charged $39.99 for the sweater. I asked the bagging assistant to place this expensive sweater in a separate bag so it would not get damaged and once I got home I realized I did not have the sweater. I never received the separate bag this sweater was put in. I looked through all my bags I purchased from that store since I spent a total of $488.49 on that day. I immediately called the store to inform them at about 5pm. My purchase was at about 11AM ON 3/14/14. I was told the store manager would get back to me on Saturday and look at the security cameras. I received a call from the store manager [redacted] on Saturday stating the cameras are down and their IT team would look at it on Monday and they have not seen the sweater and no one knows anything about it, however retail this sweater is about $800 and all of the store associates knew this and I have a witness that heard another store clerk state he was going to have his girlfriend come buy the sweater, so it was obvious to me the sweater was already wanted by several people. I witnessed the sweated being bagged separately as well as my mother witnessing the sweating being bagged in a separate bag, however I NEVER received the sweater in the separate bag since they bag everything behind the counters. The manager [redacted] called me Monday and said the cameras didnt show anything and there was nothing she could do for me, however I have spent 1,000s of dollars at this thrift place before. All I wanted was what I paid for which was the sweater I never got. I am demanding a full refund of the item. I believe I was treated unfairly. I dont have a lot of money to be ripped off however someone behind that cashier counter I believe stole the sweater knowing the value of the sweater was very high.I know I will never see this sweater but for this honest store nDesired Settlement: I want the sweater I purchased or a replacement of the same sweater I purchased.

Review: Hi,I bought a watch at Thriftown on Mission st. Friday, when I got home I realized the watch was a counterfeit, I called the store immediately they told me they have a no return policy , bye.I then email there corporate HQ and got no response. I went into the store to speak with the mgr. before I even finished talking she said they have a no return policy and walked away.I was under the impression selling counterfeit merchandise was not legal...Since Thrifttowm buys there merchandise and is not a charity don't they have to obey the law? they had marked the watch $349.99 they give you about 1 minute to look at it before they take it away from you. Please advice.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund.
