Thrifty Car Rental

When I returned the car there was a scratch on the passenger side that I was responsible for and filled out the proper paperwork, etc...
What I am upset about is the unethical way I was treated after this. I was charged for the damage plus 21 days for loss of use. When I began questioning this by emailing the owner *** and the fleet manager *** they lowered it to 10 days.
After more research I found out that the estimate for damages and the repair was done by a shop also owned by ***. To a customer this appears to be unethical and uncalled for. I finally got a settlement and paid for 8 days loss of use and the amount of the damages.
With the amount of ease they changed the loss of use days it is obvious to me that their business practices are unethical and unprofessional.
