Revdex.com:While I do consider this matter resolved, I reject the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] as there are many inaccuracies in their reportingPlease see the attached.Per my initial complaint:The seamstress that hemmed the pants did indeed hem them too shortI requested a inch inseam and received a inch inseamThe inseam was accurately marked in three places. On November 11, (at the store) when asked for a refund on the payment of the alterations fee of $26, it was not immediately givenI was told the store needed to keep the pants for owner or management to look atAt that time, no offer to reimburse me for the pants had been madeThe store did keep the pants. On November ! was called by the clerk and told that the store was willing to refund my $alteration fee and also offer me a store credit for future services of $No reimbursement was offered for the replacement of the pants (or suits) which could not be repaired as the turned under portion of the hem only provided an additional inches (making it 28+1.5=inches of available fabric).I declined the offer of the store credit of $30, but later that same day, did pick up the pants and the $alteration fee refund, I also requested to again speak with someone regarding the pantsI was told at that time that the manager would call me on Monday, November 16.Note: I needed an inseam of inches, the pants were hemmed to inchesThere was not enough fabric to repair the pantsThe suits were no longer wearable by meWhile Thrifty was not offering at that time to reimburse me for even the pants, I did state that the jackets without pants did not make a suit.I received no phone call from Thrifty personnel on Friday, November 13, 2015.On November as I had not heard from store personnel, I filed my complaint with the Revdex.com.On November 24, at approximately 12:p.mI did receive a phone call from an unknown callerThey left a voicemail which when played was garbledAs I did not recognize the number nor understand that message, and I was at work, I did not call backAt 3:p.mthat same day, the caller called again from the same numberI missed the call and no message was left.On November 25, at 7:a.mthe caller called again (same number)I answered the callThe caller identified herself by first name only from Thrifty CleanWe had a bad connection and two minutes into the conversation were disconnectedShe called back from a different phone numberThe total call lasted minutes and secondsDuring the conversation I asked her position with the company and she told me she was the general manager. After much discussion, the general manager offered to send me a check for $to compensate me for the two suitsWhen I asked her how she wanted the suits returned to her, I was advised that due to the total reimbursement falling under the store's insurance guidelines, return of merchandise was not necessary and that I could keep the suits to do with as I wished. On November 28th I received the check for $I consider this claim settled Regards, [redacted] ***
