Thrifty Dollar Car Rental

This complaint is with Dollar rent a carI rented cars through cartrawler and paid $for each car and had a balance of for each carWhen I went to pick up both cars the rep behind the counter asked if I wanted standered coverage or ultraI said standared with the belief that was what I ordered online, she never quoted a price or that there would be a deposit on each vehicle never gave me any total for each car so I ran my car thinking I was paying the for each carShe handed me my papers and went on my wayi had both cars in my possession for min when I went to look at my reciept to find I was charged for each car soI went back to get cancel and get two new agreements and rep said she could do that but could not get a refund for hours and could not transfer the x on new contract so because of this my bank account was in the whole and could not rent any more cars from her or anyoneI did get a refund of only for each car so they still charged me dollers for each car and I only had in my possession for min plus I am still dealing with cartrawler for the x for the internet paymentso at this point I am out almost $dollars for cars I had a total of min plus I had to drive my own vehicle on my weekend vacation

This complaint is with Dollar rent a car. I rented 2 cars through cartrawler and paid $56 for each car and had a balance of 23.31 for each car. When I went to pick up both cars the rep behind the counter asked if I wanted standered coverage or ultra. I said standared with the belief that was what I ordered online, she never quoted a price or that there would be a 200 deposit on each vehicle never gave me any total for each car so I ran my car thinking I was paying the 23.00 for each car. She handed me my papers and went on my way. I had both cars in my possession for 40 min when I went to look at my reciept to find I was charged 387.00 for each car so. I went back to get cancel and get two new agreements and rep said she could do that but could not get a refund for 24 hours and could not transfer the 200 x 2 on 2 new contract so because of this my bank account was in the whole and could not rent any more cars from her or anyone. I did get a refund of only 339.00 for each car so they still charged me 48.00 dollers for each car and I only had in my possession for 40 min plus I am still dealing with cartrawler for the 56.00 x 2 for the internet payment. so at this point I am out almost $200 dollars for 2 cars I had a total of 40 min plus I had to drive my own vehicle on my weekend vacation.
