Made deal that he would use my cylinder head as a master cylinder to mass produce his companies aftermarket big bore cylinders. In exchange he would give me a big bore cylinder kit for free. I sent him my parts and he had them for almost 2 months before returned to me. I had to constantly email/call him for updates and he always have me deadlines that he never met. I called and talk to his assistant and he informed me my parts were just sitting there and he would do whatever he needed to in order to mass produce his cylinders that night, then get my parts back to me. Finally got my parts back after almost 2 months. He said in about 6-8 week she would need my parts back to fit everything. He has stopped answering my emails, he almost never answers the phone. Used me to get what he wanted and left me without parts for 6 weeks.Product_Or_Service: Big bore kit for 2016 250 SX-fDesired SettlementHe will make thousands of dollars over the next few years because of the agreement that we had. Unfortunately he didn't hold up his end of the bargain. It's been over 2 months since we communicated with each other. I don't trust him or his products, but he should not be making money from my parts that I paid for. He owes me a big bore kit, I don't want his kit, I'd rather the money to purchase a lot from another manufacturer. His cheapest kit cost $485.00 on his website. I am seeking $485.00.Business Response The complainant contacted us to ask if we had a kit for his bike. We did not. He asked if we could make one, the process was explained to him and he agreed to use of his motorcycle parts to develop the new kit. For his time he would receive the kit at no charge when it was complete. He sent us the parts we asked for to start the research, but also sent in the head from his bike to be worked on. When the work on the head was complete, all parts were returned to him, he even received free new gaskets. If he had just sent in the parts for measurement as we asked, he would have had them back in a week. The head work took longer during this very busy time and even though we discounted the work for him, the extra week seemed to really upset him.The inability to contact us is fabrication, we are open for business and can be contacted by phone or email Monday through Friday during business hours. We were actually unable to contact the customer once he received his parts, he stopped answering emails. With our service manager being a veteran himself, and the complainant being in the military and out of the country at the time, we didn't think anything of his not responding.Unknowing that the customer had decided to renege on the deal, we spent money to have prototypes of the new kit manufactured. Now we have the prototypes with nothing to install them in and test. We will find another volunteer with the same bike who will be happy to install and test the kit. Many hours of testing are required, if the prototypes need to be changed, that will require more manufacturing, installing, testing etcetera. The complainant's only contribution to the process before he backed out was for us to get some measurements, about 2% of the process. We owe him nothing. The person who assists us with the extensive testing process will receive the free kit.He has now resorted to name calling and threats and we want nothing further to do with him. Every interaction with him has been documented, and I have gone over all of it, for him to be so hostile because some work took an extra week doesn't make sense. He has made clear what type of person he is, wasted enough of our time and money, and nothing further will be expended on this issue.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)More lies from this seller. I have every email that he sent and gave me estimated completion times that he continued to break over and over. Try calling the company yourself and see who answers. They never do. The gaskets that were "free" we're because he threw my old ones away and didn't ship them back to me. Name calling and threats he is referring to are myself making sure I steer away any future customers I can away from him and calling him a fraud. This guys communication is horrible. STEER CLEAR FROM THIS "BUSINESSMAN".
