do not cover this type of damage but I told him in the spirit of customer srevice, that we would talk about paying. He said he would go to the dealership and get an estimate. [redacted] states he contacted me by phone on several occasions, but I only had one conversation with him, when I said to go get an estimate. He was supposed to let me know what the estimate was and we were to talk about what was a fair price to get it replaced. What ended up happening was there was no more conversation he just sent us a bill. When I looked at the invoice, he had altered the invoice by adding a tax to it and added an installation fee of $110/hour. The reason I know this is I called the company to verify the invoice and they stated the invoice was $108.31. He chose to charge us $110 an hour to install the arm himself. He attempted to charge us tax again and then realized his mistake and crossed it out. When I realized the invoice had been fraudulently altered, I refused to pay it.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:The response by Thunder Car Wash contains very inaccurate information. They said "[redacted] states he contacted me by phone on several occasions, but I only had one conversation with him". If you look at my complaint, I never said I contacted her by phone on several occasions. I said I called her once and showed up to the car wash on multiple occasions looking for her. As Ipreviously stated, I went to the car wash a total of FOUR TIMES and let them know I was trying to get in contact with the manager each time. Diane made no effort to get in contact with me.I did not "just send them a bill" as Diane states, I drove to the car wash on my lunch on Thursday 9/10/15 in an attempt to personally give the receipt to Diane as I've been previously told she is there between 9am-2pm. She was not there so I gave it to a worker and waited for a response. Come Monday 9/14/15, she had not responded so I filed this complaint.Diane stated "When I looked at the invoice, he had altered the invoice by adding a tax to it and added an installation fee of $110/hour. The reason I know this is I called the company to verify the invoice and they stated the invoice was $108.31. He chose to charge us $110 an hour to install the arm himself. He attempted to charge us tax again and then realized his mistake and crossed it out. When I realized the invoice had been fraudulently altered, I refused to pay it."This is extremely inaccurate information. I am stating nothing but facts. Diane unfortunately, is stating assumptions.I've attached two invoices to this and two screen shots of my bank accounts being charged. The first attachment that is titled "c1" contains the first invoice I received from [redacted]. I was charged $108.31 on that day. I asked the worker helping me ([redacted] Phone number: [redacted]) how much it would be for them to install it and I asked him to write it down on the invoice. He can verify that is his handwriting. He gave me an estimate of $22 to install it. He then added that $22 and $111.02 and got a total of $133.02. As I said, I paid $108.31 that day so I thoughthe added it up wrong. He should have added $108.31 to $22. Not $111.02 and $22. So I crossed out his handwriting of $133.02 and wrote $130.31. That is the one thing I did to the invoice. Attempted to correct the price. The second attachment I added to this titled "c2" shows the invoice I received after getting the wiper installed by [redacted] on 9/12/15. This invoice shows the $22 I was charged for the labor. It also shows that the wiper was actually $111.02. I thought it was $108.31 as that's what they originally charged me but [redacted] had the correct price before I crossed it out on the previous invoice. They added a charge for tax and shop supplies so it cost me $37.08 that day. $37.08 plus the $108.31 I already paid equals a grand total of $145.39These two invoices plus the two bank statements prove that I did not "install it myself" and "attempt to charge them tax again before realizing my mistake and crossing it out". I can provide physical copies of these invoices as well.As for the disclaimer on the wall, it states "OUR EQUIPMENT SAFELY WASHES WELL MAINTAINED ORGINAL (original is misspelled on their sign) EQUIPT VEHICLES". Then under that it says they are not responsible for many things that could get damaged including wipers. This disclaimer is a CONTRADICTION in itself. You cannot state that your car wash safely washes vehicles and then right under it say that you're not responsible for vehicles that get damaged in it. If your car wash actually washes vehicles safely, then you do not need to say that you are not responsible for any damage that occurs because no damage will occur since it "safely washes" cars. This only proves that they are aware the car wash can damage vehicles. As I stated on my initial statement, there are multiple reviews on multiple sites posted this year that complain about this car wash damaging their vehicles. This disclaimer is invalid since it's contradicting itself.I would like my full refund of $145.39. I honestly should be receiving more for the time, gas, and effort I've put into all this. Once again, I've showed up at the car wash 4-5 times. I've woken up earlier and went to the car wash before work and on my lunch in an effort to get in contact with Diane. I've had to drive to Toyota and wait to get my vehicle fixed while using credit cards to pay for stuff knowing that my cards are almost maxed out. I sit here at home for hours having to type this whole thing up and refute the assumptions being made that I fabricated stuff. And again, all I'm asking for is the $145.39. That's a bargain for all that I've done to settle this.Sincerely,[redacted]SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com[redacted]
