Mr [redacted] contacted us to design a sign and business card for his business [redacted] which we did the work requested. correct and to send to print. . Mr. [redacted] as we went to print the sign said he did not want to continue doing business even though he was well aware of our company policy of no refunds after work has commenced as it is noted on all written email communications that are sent out. A copy of our policy is stated here:IMPORTANT!! PLEASE READ!! Please Inspect!!Every effort has been made to assure accuracy in the printing of your order, but only you can make the final inspection. Please examine layout, color, theme, text, spelling and any other design elements to ensure they are to your specifications. If customer changes or cancels an order after approval verbal or written , Thunderstruck Signs reserves the right to charge for services rendered and/or materials already ordered. If a rendering of graphic is given and sign is not purchased, Thunderstruck Signs also reserves the right to charge a design fee for design work performed. Print ready artwork is required for fastest production and in all rush orders.  Customer agrees to use the services of Thunderstruck Signs for the project(s) named above. Customer accepts the conditions (materials etc.) of the project and agrees to pay Thunderstruck Signs for the services used and obtained by the customer, time values are included. Customer understands that a non-refundable deposit must be made before any project(s) can begin. Services used are billable expenses. Rights to graphical or technical work and files associated with them are retained by Thunderstruck Signs. Customer reserves rights only for paid printed materials, not digital works. Also, the customers signature is a seal of approval despite errors. Please review your digital copy prior to print. Failure to do so will increase the chances of mistakes. Thunderstruck Signs is not responsible for errors in printing if customer has given their seal of approval using signature form below, email or verbal consent. Any unpaid balances will result in immediate return/pick-up of merchandise. Customer will forfeit deposit and be liable for any and all cost incurred ie; legal fees, labor, admin & parts.  Mr [redacted] knew the process prior to payment and agreed to those terms. It is against our policy due to the custom nature of the work to provide refunds especially after the client approves the artwork and is ready for print. Mr. [redacted] simply wanted someone to give him free artwork and had no intention of actually paying for said work that was performed.
