Customer called to complain about quality of vinyl records purchased. I told her to please return the items for a refund of her purchase price. Customer continued, asking why these records sounded so worn. I explained to her that she had...

selected the lowest quality items, when she could have opted to select higher quality copies of the same titles. A 99 cent record would not be of the same quality as the 4 dollar higher condition copy of the same title. Customer initially expected a full refund without having to return anything. When this request was denied, the customer asked to also have her postage and return shipping covered by us. I questioned why she would have such low price items shipped via PRIORITY when she could have selected Standard shipping. Purchasing bargain items, then selecting expensive shipping is odd. The customer seemed offended at this. To demand it all to be refunded sounded ridiculous. The conversation ended with me repeating that she should return the merchandise for refund of purchase price, as stated in our return policy. We still would be happy to refund the customer's purchase price upon return of merchandise. Customer's expectations go far beyond our very reasonable return policy.

Willingness to accept a return was not the issue. The manner in which the man spoke to me was. I have never spoken to such a mean spirited person. He also went to tell me I am wasting his time and office time and that I will never buy from them again. When I spoke to a representative from Revdex.com I told her I am just keeping the records because I do not even want to deal with such a nasty person.
