I purchased tickets for the Trex Planet exhibit through ticketleapI hit the submit button on my phone twice by mistake because I didn't think it was going through so I was charged double and neither company is willing to reimburse my money for the tickets ordered by mistakeWe were scanned through for using at the event so they know I only wanted to order Their only resolution to this is giving me free tickets to the next eventI don't see how they see them as free when I already paid for extra ticketsPlus the exhibit was good enough to go see once but nothing exceptional that I would take the time to see it twiceWe are talking about $124.00, not millions and you would think they would just reimburse me to keep their name cleanI don't recommend anyone ever buying from ticketleap or going to the Trex exhibit

Ticketleap is a platform for event organizers to sell tickets to ticket buyers.  It appears that this complaint is from a ticket buyer.  If so, they should contact the ticket seller and request a refund if they are unhappy.  If they are unhappy with the response from the ticket...

seller, they should contact Ticketleap customer support.  Ticketleap's customer support team answers the phone quickly and generally responds to emails in less than 45 minutes.

I am rejecting this response because:
This is completely unacceptable.  I did not purchase a ticket, nor did I attend this event.  How can this company say that the purchase was made on an IP address in "my neighborhood"???  Can they please specify which neighborhood they are referring to?  Secondly, Ticket leap continues to refer to an email that was apparently sent but can provide no proof.  I keep my emails extremely organized and could not find any record of an email from them for this event, even when conducting an overall in-box search.  I am certain this is a malfunction on their end and it is completely ridiculous that they continue to deny responsibility.   I have already taken the precautions of requesting a bank card with a new account number since who knows how many events and shows they will insist I have attended in the future.
A warning to all consumers:  do not purchase tickets through this site!!!
Regards,
[redacted]

Ticketleap does over $100 million in ticket sales every year.  When event organizers choose Ticketleap, they have the option to process payments through [redacted], through our own merchant processor (Ticketleap Payments), or using their own merchant account with [redacted].net....

[redacted] chose to process payments through Ticketleap's merchant processor.  In this circumstance, we generally pay 3-5 days after the event, but as our Ticketing Service Agreement (http://www.ticketleap.com/legal/ticketing-services-agreement/) makes clear we do occasionally hold funds in order to ensure that the event is legit.  See, eg, "Ticketleap reserves the right to withhold funds at any time as
Ticketleap in its sole discretion determines to be necessary for the
processing and settlement of all returns, disputed charges, customer
complaints, allegations of fraud, chargebacks, expected chargebacks and
other discrepancies."
While other merchant processors often hold funds for months and months, we managed the verify the event's transactions and pay [redacted] in under 10 business days, just a few days longer than normal.
-------------------------------------
We engaged ticketleap.com, herein referred to as Ticketleap on or about September 1, 2014 to handle the organization and payment processing of our event which took place on September 20, 2014. Pursuant to Ticketleaps policy as listed below: How do I receive proceeds from my event? Depends! If you use Ticketleap Payments, all payments are scheduled to process 3 business days after the event occurs, pursuant to our ticketing agreement. If you're signed up for direct deposit, it typically takes 3-5 business days for your payment to reach your bank account. If you're signed up to receive a check, it takes up to 7-10 business days for the envelope to reach your mailbox. If you use [redacted] or [redacted].net, funds are deposited directly into your respective accounts as they occur. In our case, our event ended on 9/20/2014 with a payment amount due to us for $4,487.42 and no payment was received by 9/29/2014. We have made multiple calls to Ticketleap customer service where we were met with rudeness and no concern about payment ever being sent. We asked for upper management and were told that no one would be available to take our call to resolve payment. For this reason we are filing this Revdex.com compliant as well and notifying promoters to seek other means than Ticketleap. Do not do business with this SCAM Company.

This ticket buyer did buy a ticket through the Ticketleap platform a year ago.  However, her payment was processed through [redacted].  As such, patron paid event organizer directly through [redacted].  If she has an issue, she should contact event organizer, [redacted], or her credit card...

I am rejecting this response because:TicketLeaps gross sales figures are irrelevant to the matter as there were no chargebacks, refunds, fraud of any kind. The lack of professionalism by  its customer service and management only shows the consumer that Ticketleap is not a valuable partner in processing transactions for businesses. Ticketleap failed to communicate to us that there were any issues regarding the transactions and are clearly grasping at straws since they lack the business etiquette.

Tried to use ticketleap to get tickets for an event in Reno, NV. Selected the Reno Event from my phone on the promoters site and was sent to an event in Chico, CA by mistake. Never saw a review screen from the mobile site, tickets purchased for Chico even thoigh I selected Reno. Emailed Ticketleap and they were quick to respond. Said I needed to contact event promoter. Emailed promoter, but no response yet. Ticketleap customer care rep jennifer leisner tried to make me look stupid by repeating that it was my fault, and after I mentioned disputing the charge with my bank, she threatened me saying they would dispute my dispute and get their money anyway. Totally rude and uncalled for, even if I had made a mistake, threatening a customer is BS! Will never use ticketleap again and will spread the word on the poor customer service.

Review: I purchased 4 tickets for the [redacted] that were advertised as $30.00 tickets and they were not. I have tried to settle this with Ticketleap, who then sent me to [redacted]. After more than 2 weeks of E-mails and phone calls and a lot of wasted time, I finally proceeded with filing a dispute with my credit card company for the amount of the tickets. I had to buy new tickets for the circus that evening. If you would like, I can send you a copy of the letter and attachments I sent to my credit card company.Desired Settlement: I want a credit of $92.60 on my credit card. The tickets were clearly advertised as $30.00 tickets. There was no mention of lower level tickets in the advertisement. The tickets were at the base of the oval. The only thing we would have been able to see was what was right in front of us. The people at [redacted] told me the tickets I purchased, that were advertised as $30.00 tickets, were not.

Response:

To Whom is May Concern,

Review: After reviewing my bank statement, I noticed a charge from Ticketleap that I did not recognize for $52.12 on June 23, 2014. I searched my email for anything around that date from Ticketleap, such as a receipt or confirmation, to clarify the charge and found no record of any purchase after a purchase I had made in April 2014. I called the Ticketleap customer service and spoke with a young lady who asked me a series of questions to try and find out what this charge is for. She advised that a single ticket for [redacted] ComicCon was purchased and redeemed via an email sent to me. I told her that I had not purchased that ticket nor had I gone to the event nor have any email from that date. She then proceeded to go over possible scenarios as to how the ticket may have been purchased, suggesting that perhaps my 10 year son or one of his friends had used my card without permission. I advised her that was absolutely not an option, as I stated, HE IS 10 and does not drive nor would he have gone to the city without my knowing. She told me that since the ticket was sent to my email and redeemed that there was no way that I would be issued a refund. I asked if she could provide proof of the email that was allegedly sent and she advised that she did not have access to it, however, she "knew" it was sent. I asked her if there was any way a glitch in their system could have wrongly charged my account using the information I had entered to purchase the ticket in April and she assured me that has never happened and that credit card information is not stored, rather it is encrypted in their system. So basically TicketLeap has made a fraudulent charge to my account that they cannot back up with any proof other than the fact that they "know" a ticket was emailed to me and redeemed. Needless to say, this is unacceptable and I would like the charge retracted.

Thank you,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: $52.12 refunded to my account.
