Ticketmaster Corporation Reviews (27)

On November when a new tranche of Hamilton tickets went on sale, I purchased tickets in separate orders (because I was afraid of losing them and the website was slow) I received confirmation for all orders and was charged for orders of each -- SIX tickets -- which is the limit allowed Those are the ONLY Hamilton tickets I ordered and the ONLY confirmations I received Then, on November I received emails telling me that the orders were cancelled I called -- coincidentally times -- and spoke with different people, including Rachel (#ZY5846), Vince and Patty -- all found the orders and the cancellations and insisted that I or someone using me ISP and/or computer and/or name ordered more tickets NO ONE ORDERED MORE TICKETS IN MY NAME OR ON MY COMPUTER OR FROM MY INTERNET ADDRESS! I DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER ORDER NUMBERS, TICKETS OR EMAILS ABOUT CANCELLATIONS -- Which should prove that those were the only ones I purchased TicketMaster had no right to cancel them and I am looking for as many ways as possible to lodge my complaint against the company TicketMaster should have an obligation to replace those tickets with comparable tickets at an agreed upon date

This business is fraudulent and rip off They pretend to be from the box office of Broward Center for Performing Arts when in fact they are ticket scalpers marking up tickets 150% over the actual cost

Ticketmaster uses a 3rd party for refund insurance and they both make it difficult to get a refundWhen you select the refund insurance it does not tell you that it is a 3rd party until you need a refundticketmaster will not support it even though they provide it on their website without giving warning when you click on it

On January 1, 2016, I tried to purchase a parking pass [redacted] the Washington Redskins vsDallas Cowboys gameMy card was charged $but I did not receive a parking pass [redacted] a system error occurredWhen I reported the problem to Ticketmaster on January 2, 2016, I was advised by a supervisor that a refund had already been issued back to my cardOn January 7, 2016, I called Ticketmaster again to let them know that I still had not received my refund back to my cardI was told to give it another dayWell today is January 12thI still have not received my refundThis Friday will make weeks and it SHOULD NOT take that long IF it had truly been refunded on the date that I was toldAll I want from TicketMaster is my $that it charged my card and they will never have to worry about me doing business with them EVER AGAIN!!!

I recently sold a ticket through Ticketmaster's fan-to-fan resale optionI assumed they would simply return the funds to the credit card I had used for the purchaseI received an email from them a couple of weeks later informing me that I had been paidI kept checking my credit card account, but I never saw a creditSo I went back to their site and discovered that they had deposited my funds into a very old checking account on file that I had closed a long time agoI immediately updated my Ticketmaster account so that the funds would be deposited through my current debit cardAfter a few weeks went by, I called their support line a few times to see if they could check on the status of the depositEach time, they informed me that the funds were being deposited through the debit card on file (the current one), and that I needed to be patientWell, I finally contacted my bank and discovered that Ticketmaster had in fact attempted to deposit the funds into the old checking account and that it was rejectedMy bank provided me a trace number for the rejection so I could prove the transaction (or lack thereof)I contacted support several more times through their email service, and each time I was completely blown offI provided the trace number for the rejection and even sent them a copy of my bank statement to prove that I had never received any deposit from TicketmasterThey responded by saying that their records show that my bank had accepted the payment and that there was nothing more they can doThis is the worst customer service I have ever receivedThey are blatantly stealing my money

I recently purchased tickets from Ticketmaster and immediatelyHave questions about my purchase the next day April 23rd to inquire more information I was told at this time than what I purchased was what I thought I purchased a VIP full package seats backstage all inclusive on July 2nd the day of the concert this is not what I am fact purchased I spoke with that they said they would reach in hours I never heard back that day went to the concert and called the next day they told me the process can take up to hours and would call me back I called back the next week they then told me what I purchased was only first a box premium seats and there was nothing more they could do I told them I spoke with someone on the 23rd who informed me otherwise they apologized and said they would launch an investigation a week later they admitted to making a mistake and told me they could offer me a dollar refund for what costed me five hundred sixty five hundred ninety four dollars for two tickets

Trying to place orders over the phone is ImpossibleThe call volume is ALWAYS HIGHTHe automative system continuously hangs up in your faceIt's impossible to actually talk to someone besides a robotI probably wouldn't recommend any to purchase tickets or attend events ..! I tried to purchase tickets..! I always attend events and I always have these problems

Went to purchase tickets with a presale code Logged on EXACTLY when they went on sale as I knew the show would sell out, and it was the only thing my wife asked for for her birthday Got through the entire process and submitted my payment Received an error message "Internal processing error, please try again" Meanwhile, the ticket release clock continued to count down Attempted more times with difference credit cards, but kept getting the same error message Finally time expired, the tickets were released and I was sent back to the find tickets screen Sold out This is the 2nd time this has happened to me I called their customer service and they basically told me to go cry somewhere else- their servers get really busy when tickets go on sale and they get a lot of processing errors due to volume The are a $billion company and yet they can't afford the server capacity and don't have the foresight to add resources when tickets go on sale I don't have tickets, but the tickets I was attempting to purchase were immediately available on [redacted] marked up 60%-500% Real music fans can't get tickets to shows because of Ticketmaster's monopoly, incompetence and greed while scalpers can continue to suck dollars out of people's wallets

Ticketmaster has screwed me out of $dollars when I sold tickets through their site Keep telling me I have to verify accounts before they can send me my money Plus they keep hanging up on me when I call to try to get my moneyThe didn't have verify anything to take my money when I paid for them in the first place WONT PAY, TYPICAL BIG BUSINESS CROOKS!!

I wanted to buy concert tickets to a kpop concert for my niece they were originally priced The concert sold out within minutes I noticed that they were offering platinum tickets I thought it was overpriced, but I decided to buy them Since she wanted them so muchNowhere in their website it said that those tickets were non refundableThe next day they announced that another date was going to be addedI call them and ask them if I can get a refund They told me that those tickets were not from ticketmaster, they were from a promoter I think its unfair that they not only overpriced their tickets, but what is worse that they do not allow us to get a refund Today, when I looked at the website the tickets next to ours are price a piece I paid over a piece Another thing, is that I did not get a confirmation emailThey should provide more information in their website regarding platinum tickets Specially if they are nonrefundable

I purchased tickets through ticketmaster for *** which was showing Oct 1st at 8pm in Chicago the whole show was a scam there was no featured artists that was shown on my ticket there the play had nothing to do with the movie and the whole storyline was differentI felt I was bamboozled out of my moneyI contacted ticketmaster for advertising and they denied my claim

Their customer service is the worstThey are rude and impatient and are not trying to help at allThey don't show respect to their customersThe only thing they say is "There is nothing I can do to help you"I will advice everyone to stay away from them!

Ticketmaster did not reimburse me when we bought the insurance and could not make itDo not trust themOnly buy if you know you can make it

A very sleezy unethical companySo I wanted to get some tickets to see one of my favorite bands At first, they had a presale where you could only buy tickets with a Citi credit card Really? How is that even legalSo anyway I waited for tickets to be available to the general public The website showed that tickets were not available but you could buy them resale (where people buy them and resell them for a lot more, which probably shouldn't be legal either) So I bit the bullet and paid double the ticket value I then discovered several hours later that the tickets at the regular price were in fact available I gurantee they do this on purpose, they only release a small amount of tickets so its like they sell out, people swoop them up, charge double, ticketmaster gets the service fees twice, they then release more tickets once things settle downI called ticketmaster assuming they would fix it because I paid double the price for a ticket because was told it was unavailable when it was in fact available It was like having a conversation with a wall and they said they couldn't do anything because it was a reselle, I said okay I get that btu I wouldn't have had a transaction w/ the reseller if you had honest inventory plus ebay is nothing but resellers and they handle disputes because they're company is the middle-person After several more attempts and coming to the conclusion the company was worthless, I said can you tell me who I bought the ticket from so I can get a refund from them and they said they could not figure out who the third party was, really? How on earth could a company faciliate a transaction and not know one the parties involved Foruntately, my bank came to rescue, they acted like they've deal with ticketmaster several times and it was a form of scalping or highly unethical business practies at bestThey are going to dispute it and thinks ticketmaster will not fight the dispute because they know they're in the wrong If not the bank will right ticketmaster's wrong

I recently sold a ticket through Ticketmaster's fan-to-fan resale option. I assumed they would simply return the funds to the credit card I had used for the purchase. I received an email from them a couple of weeks later informing me that I had been paid. I kept checking my credit card account, but I never saw a credit. So I went back to their site and discovered that they had deposited my funds into a very old checking account on file that I had closed a long time ago. I immediately updated my Ticketmaster account so that the funds would be deposited through my current debit card. After a few weeks went by, I called their support line a few times to see if they could check on the status of the deposit. Each time, they informed me that the funds were being deposited through the debit card on file (the current one), and that I needed to be patient. Well, I finally contacted my bank and discovered that Ticketmaster had in fact attempted to deposit the funds into the old checking account and that it was rejected. My bank provided me a trace number for the rejection so I could prove the transaction (or lack thereof). I contacted support several more times through their email service, and each time I was completely blown off. I provided the trace number for the rejection and even sent them a copy of my bank statement to prove that I had never received any deposit from Ticketmaster. They responded by saying that their records show that my bank had accepted the payment and that there was nothing more they can do. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. They are blatantly stealing my money.

On November 9 when a new tranche of Hamilton tickets went on sale, I purchased 6 tickets in 3 separate orders (because I was afraid of losing them and the website was slow). I received confirmation for all 3 orders and was charged for 3 orders of 2 each -- SIX tickets -- which is the limit allowed. Those are the ONLY Hamilton tickets I ordered and the ONLY confirmations I received. Then, on November 30 I received 3 emails telling me that the orders were cancelled. I called -- coincidentally 3 times -- and spoke with 6 different people, including Rachel (#ZY5846), Vince and Patty -- all found the orders and the cancellations and insisted that I or someone using me ISP and/or computer and/or name ordered more tickets. NO ONE ORDERED MORE TICKETS IN MY NAME OR ON MY COMPUTER OR FROM MY INTERNET ADDRESS! This company is full of lying customer service representatives who will say one thing, but everyone else in the company will say otherwise. It would be nice to know who is telling the truth and who is lying to me. Needless to say, I will never buy tickets with this company ever again for how poorly they handled my situation, and I hope no one else makes the same mistake that I did.

This business is fraudulent and rip off They pretend to be from the box office of Broward Center for Performing Arts when in fact they are ticket scalpers marking up tickets 150% over the actual cost.

Trying to place orders over the phone is Impossible. The call volume is ALWAYS HIGH. THe automative system continuously hangs up in your face. It's impossible to actually talk to someone besides a robot.. I probably wouldn't recommend any to purchase tickets or attend events ..! I tried to purchase 5 tickets..! I always attend events and I always have these problems..

Purchased tickets for an event at a venue with an age restriction. No information was posted on the purchase pages, event page or anywhere on the printed ticket. It had to be searched for on the facility page, and even then was incorrect. TM was unavailable (and then lied about being closed) to assist me and I requested a refund.
These are emails between TM and me.
Hi [redacted],
Thank you for contacting us. We are pleased to assist you with your questions.
We're sorry you were unable to reach us via phones. When there is an age restriction on an event, it is found under "please note" above the event info tab. As previously mentioned we did check on your behalf and we were unable to obtain authorization to refund tickets for Kansas. Unfortunately we just can't offer a refund. All sales are final. We regret any inconvenience this might cause.
Sincerely,
Rebecca,Ticketmaster

Where was the disclaimer on the event info, and why wasn't it more apparent when purchasing tickets? I was not the only one there with this problem, and it is UNFAIR not to clearly state this when buying tickets to an event. In addition, when I called customer support BEFORE the event (7:15), it was closed even though the recording stated that they were open until 9:00. Had I known I could not get my tickets refunded, I would have re-sold them to someone at the door. So because your customer support was not available to help me (during the time they should have been) I feel I should be able to get a refund. It was a horrible experience and it was TM's lack of customer service that caused it

Hi [redacted],
We're sorry for the frustrations but please note our business operates on Eastern Standard Time so if you tried to call us at 8:15 PST, then it would have been 11:15 EST here and yes, our offices were closed at that time. When purchasing tickets online, it is the customers responsibility to read the info we've posted online concerning the event. The info is listed under PLEASE NOTE and EVENT INFO. As stated in a previous email; We're sorry to hear that you were turned away at the door. According to the venue information, we show that no one under the age of 18 is permitted into any event, not just this event. As a courtesy, we have submitted a request for a refund to our Loss Department. They will conduct an investigation into your claim and make a decision regarding a refund. Someone will contact you as soon as a decision is made regarding a refund.
I hope this has resolved all of your questions, have a great day!
Sincerely,
Cheri,Ticketmaster

If your business operates on EST, why isn't that on the recording? How can I "note" that if you don't say it? I still see no info listed under "PLEASE NOTE or EVENT INFO." I do see info listed under Venue Info and General Rules, but that states the min age as 21, not 18 as is the case per employees at Casino Pauma and you yourself. The info you supply the customer is limited, inaccurate, obscure and inconsistent from the web page to customer service. Show me where it says the min age is 18 on page visible to me. I realize it is my responsibility to read the information, but it is YOUR responsibility to make it CLEARLY and CORRECTLY stated. I called at 7:15, not 8:15. Your customer support should be available for events you sell tickets to, not prejudiced by where they are held and time zones. That is completely unfair and customers should be aware of this ahead of time.

Hi [redacted],
Thanks for reaching out, I'd be more than happy to see what we can do to help.
We apologize for the previous email. We are available Mon-Fri: 9 AM - 9 PM, Saturday: 9 AM - 8 PM, and Sunday: 9 AM - 6 PM your local time.
We're not sure why you received a message that we were closed.
At this time we are waiting to hear back on the request we sent about your refund request. As soon as we hear something, we'll contact you.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
It's been my pleasure to assist you, please let us know if you need anything else.
Sincerely,
Monica,Ticketmaster

I am still waiting for a refund. I thought the whole point in using Ticketmaster was to help the average person procure tickets to attend an event, and customer service would be to make sure that everything is clear, simple and satisfactory. I want a refund. My family and I did not get to see the concert and could not contact customer service to verify that they would not refund the tickets. If customer service had been available to tell me that the option of "request a refund" was just pretend, I would have sold the tickets at the door. End of story. I'd be mad that we missed the show, the website did not CLEARLY state the age limit for the concert, but the money spent would not be an issue. Please let me know when I can expect the refund for my tickets.
Hi [redacted],
Thanks for reaching out, I'd be more than happy to see what we can do to help. I checked on the refund status, but unfortuna
