I am filing this complaint based on Unlimited Recovery violation & failing to adhere to Illegal Parking Management Policy, which states on their website: Unlimited Recovery demonstrates fair and equitable handling of parking violators, without the price gouging or unethical treatmentWe specialize in damage-free service and our drivers are courteous, trained and uniformed for everyone's safety My car was abandoned in an unsupervised parking lot instead of being driven back the facility until I picked it up Also, they wanted to first charge me with full price - $for towing, when the driver decides to drop my car mins away from where he retrieved it It would be considered unethical treatment and the driver definitely was not courteous and lack training Lastly, it was safe for everyone because my car could have been broken into, damage or stole On August 3th around 12:00my car got towed from a [redacted] Apartment in Raleigh I was not aware the apt complex has a towing policy after 11pm, due to the lack of visible signs to indicate this policy While dropping a friend off, I return minutes later and noticed my car had been moved After much research I finally found out that Unlimited Recovery towing service had my car I called the company around 12:10am and spoke to a female worker regarding my vehicle She stated they had my car in custody and I would need to pay $to retrieve my car After finding a ride it took about minutes to get to their establishment It was 1:45am, and they did not have my car in custody I am irritated because my car should have been there, since they picked it up around 12: So the female worker had to call the driver to find out the location of my car He had abandoned my car at Food Lion parking minutes from the [redacted] Apt Complex unsupervised and suggested that I pay the full price of $for towing The female worker ended up charging me $because she felt it was unfair how I was treated and entire time of this ordeal After paying this absurd fee, I had to get a ride back over to the Food Lion off Creedmoor and Millbrook Rd., which took another minutes I did not get my car until 2:30pm As a professional & business man this situation could have been handled better, and I believe I should be refunded my $for the lack of professionalism and failure to uphold their policy and procedure regarding safety Secondly, I had called Unlimited Recovery on Aug 3th, Aug 4th, and Aug 8th and no one from upper management has even called me back to apologize or at least try to ratified the situation Lastly, as of August 8th, the driver had not received any disciplinary action, per the manager, however she stated she would talk to upper management about writing up the driver My great concerns in how many other people in past, present or future will experience that type of treatment Something definitely needs to be done to prevent other citizens as myself will not have to go this craziness Sincerely, [redacted]

Almost on a nightly basis these tow trucks come prowling around the apartment complex looking for any cars they can get for parking illegallyi go out on the balcony to watch them cruise around flashing their light around to check for anything they can getIf ever they leave empty handed they speed down the residential road also used for paralell parking for the complexThey are going to kill someone trying to get in their car one day, speeding their trucks down that little stretch of road at mphSpeeding and wreckless driving aside, this company is predatory and robs college studentsTheyre labeled as "Recovery" but from what I can tell, all they do is take advantage of people that cant afford a 100-dollar towI cant believe the *** is affiliated with them despite their numerous star reviews and allegations against themYoud think the police department would go with a better company like "Superior." This is seriously a bottom-of-the-barrell company, although I feel "company" is far from the title this rag-tag group of sm deservesTheir impound lot looks like a junkyardLimited liability mainly because they know their impound lot alone is a liability

My college son's vehicle was towed from his own apartment building because his hanging permit had fell from the mirror to the floor of the car I called the company to see if we could come to an agreement on reducing this charge since he wasn't parked illegally I explained what happened and asked the dispatcher what their procedure was as far as looking in the vehicle before towingHe stated they weren't allowed to look in the windows The dispatcher said I would have to talk to the manager Two days later the manager never returned my call I called the manager and talked with the owner who said it was procedure to look in the vehicles before towing I explained the permit was visible if they looked inside the window From this point the owner became rude and told me my son should take responsibility and hung up on me The owner of this towing company has no professionalism, who doesn't have a set of procedures or if he does he doesn't train his staff Just a cheap business trying to make a quick buck off of college students

The customer service is extremely rude. The business claim the charge is $125 over the phone. It is $175 when you get there.

I am filing this complaint based on Unlimited Recovery violation & failing to adhere to Illegal Parking Management Policy, which states on their website:
Unlimited Recovery demonstrates fair and equitable handling of parking violators, without the price gouging or unethical treatment. We specialize in damage-free service and our drivers are courteous, trained and uniformed for everyone's safety.
My car was abandoned in an unsupervised parking lot instead of being driven back the facility until I picked it up. Also, they wanted to first charge me with full price - $175.00 for towing, when the driver decides to drop my car 5 mins away from where he retrieved it. It would be considered unethical treatment and the driver definitely was not courteous and lack training. Lastly, it was safe for everyone because my car could have been broken into, damage or stole.
On August 3th around 12:00my car got towed from a [redacted] Apartment in Raleigh. I was not aware the apt complex has a towing policy after 11pm, due to the lack of visible signs to indicate this policy. While dropping a friend off, I return minutes later and noticed my car had been moved. After much research I finally found out that Unlimited Recovery towing service had my car. I called the company around 12:10am and spoke to a female worker regarding my vehicle. She stated they had my car in custody and I would need to pay $175.00 to retrieve my car. After finding a ride it took about 30 minutes to get to their establishment. It was 1:45am, and they did not have my car in custody. I am irritated because my car should have been there, since they picked it up around 12:08. So the female worker had to call the driver to find out the location of my car. He had abandoned my car at Food Lion parking 5 minutes from the [redacted] Apt Complex unsupervised and suggested that I pay the full price of $175.00 for towing. The female worker ended up charging me $75.00 because she felt it was unfair how I was treated and entire time of this ordeal. After paying this absurd fee, I had to get a ride back over to the Food Lion off Creedmoor and Millbrook Rd., which took another 30 minutes. I did not get my car until 2:30pm. As a professional & business man this situation could have been handled better, and I believe I should be refunded my $75.00 for the lack of professionalism and failure to uphold their policy and procedure regarding safety. Secondly, I had called Unlimited Recovery on Aug 3th, Aug 4th, and Aug 8th and no one from upper management has even called me back to apologize or at least try to ratified the situation. Lastly, as of August 8th, the driver had not received any disciplinary action, per the manager, however she stated she would talk to upper management about writing up the driver. My great concerns in how many other people in past, present or future will experience that type of treatment. Something definitely needs to be done to prevent other citizens as myself will not have to go this craziness.
Sincerely,

Very low rent! Sits in wait to watch someone park illegal and then boots cars and then tells the person they did and they want $50 to unboot or tow. Prays on college students. After debit card was provided the person split the card so it could not be used again. From what we have been told this happens often.
