Ms *** has different versions for her complaint She also complained to Business Consumer Alliance.(complaint ID ***) The car came in, on tow truck with a non starting condition.Ms *** told me that the other shop that she had the car prior, did something wrong to it,so I
had to do some diagnostic to check it .I found out that the battery had good reading vaults, so I checked the starter's electric circuit and when I found that the circuit was correct I had no doubt that we had a bad starter.I installed a new part (starter)from the dealer.The car was running ,I checked the battery again and it was reading at this time vaults , and, this means that the alternator was charging at this time.In reference to all electric parts ,they can fail at anytime ,when you have an old car with a lot of miles It is very unpredictable Ms *** said that I kept the car for months and that is the true ,the reason is, she asked me to give her an estimate before I fixed it, so she could get the money from her insurance company.being that I wasn't getting no answer on the subject, I called her a few times and that was when she told me to go ahead.The day after the car ready I called informing her, and she took about weeks to pick it up.She told me that she didn't pick up the car because she had no money to do so.She told me that she was a single mom, so I didn't charged her storage of her carWhen she came to complaint , she wanted the money back because her car had stopped againI told her that she had year warranty on the starter if that was the problem.She didn't want to understand and said that she would take me to court and I told her again, that the alternator charges the battery and the starter starts the car, they are different parts with completely different functions, SO I told her that I didn't do anything wrong , and she could do whatever she wanted
