I am rejecting this response becauseHi the information that this clinic has provided was for my older dog which was not even at the appointment on 3/14/17 @9:50amThis is false information and completely fabricated. I paid in full for the appointment they have given information about. It was over $200 including all medications. This business has no records of exam done on 3/14 because the vet didn't do an exam. She did talk about my dogs genitals in the waiting room in front of children. I never shouted but was upset by the lack of professionalism with this entire office. Hello,   Our veterinarian performed a thorough exam on this pet and wrote detailed exam notes which she provided to the owner.  The client and doctor were together in an exam room from 11:50am to 12:35pm discussing the pet’s examination findings and doctor recommendations.  The client...

was hoping we would euthanize her pet for a dental issue, but our doctor was not willing to euthanize a healthy pet simply because it needed a dental procedure.  The client became upset at this point and refused to pay for her exam.  We did inform her that if she did not pay she would be sent to collections as we performed the examination in good faith.  None of the conversation regarding animal genitalia occurred as witnessed by 3 receptionists and the veterinarian in the waiting room.  In fact, the client was reported as shouting obscenities in full view of our reception team because she felt we were wrong to not put her dog down.  The client refused to pay and left with the understanding that she would be sent to collections.   Due to the length of time our veterinarian spent with this client and the fact that she performed the service as expected, we are asking that the client pay the exam fee of $54.00 and please seek any future veterinary care elsewhere..   Below are the exact doctor’s examination notes copied from the client’s file:   (Owner’s Name and Pet’s name have been  removed to protect privacy rights of client)   S - presenting for exam to check swelling on face O noticed swelling on dog's face yesterday; did not improve with Benadryl Eating/drinking WNL No c/s/v/d No current medications   O - Weight: 13.2 T: 101.4 P: wnl R: wnl General Appearance: Normal Integumentary: slightly firm swelling under lateral canthus of left eye, palpates as possible abscess, no external wounds noted Musculoskeletal: Normal; BCS 5/9 Respiratory: Normal Digestive: Normal Genitourinary: Normal Ears: Normal Neural Systems: Normal Lymph Nodes: Normal Eyes: Normal Circulatory: Normal Mucous Membranes/Oral Cavity: grade 4 dental tartar with severe gingivitis and gum recession   A - suspect tooth root abscess   P - Rec dental and extractions; discussed Paw Plans - gave O estimate, warned her we don't know how many teeth dog will need to have extracted so estimate could change O cannot afford dental, even with Paw Plan; wondering how much to euthanize Told O - do not recommend euthanasia. We can treat medically with abx and NSAIDs as needed for swelling. Warned her swelling will continue to come back as long as teeth aren't addressed. bmh     Please let me know if you need anything else form me.   Thank you,   Cher S[redacted] Hospital Manager Tigard Animal Hospital 13599 SW Pacific Hwy Ste C Tigard, OR 97223 503-684-3133 Office 503-684-2752 Fax www.tigardanimalhospital.com   Like us on Facebook!    Take a moment to review us on Yelp!   Tell others about your visit on Google+ Local!
