Repair Issues/Refund Issues
I used this company to install gutters at my home. I requested gutters and a downspout to also be installed at my bay window. the gutter was installed but in place of a downspout a split was cut in the gutter which allows the water to just pour out the gutter. The water has caused rot damage to the wood trim around the window and erosion to the ground. I have contacted the company on several occasions 4/26,4/24,4/17,4/15,4/10,4/5,9/7/18,9/4/18. On two calls I was informed that they would be out the next day. this Problem has been on going since 8/31/18.

Desired Outcome

Have the new gutter installed with the downspout added. I also believe a refund of $500 for damage to my home and erosion to the surrounding area.

Work not complete, painted over rotten wood instead of repair & replace bad wood !!
His son Shane Wells operating under company didn't replace rotten wood simply painted over bad wood he said he was trying to paint before the rain and would cut bad parts out then asked for 20% down check written to him not company then asked for cash when I already purchased a cashiers check so he could pay his men so I told him I don't believe in paying in full before work is complete he said not to worry he would complete work that day he will not answer my calls this job started in late November I have been in touch with father Todd Wells who's the owner he's told me on 3 separate calls he would complete the job the next day and just as the other complaints he never does or calls back I am self employed myself fir over 15 years & it's ashamed they are doing business like this but it will catch up with them !!! After calling owner 15 to 20 times he sent a worker who did about 2-3 wood repairs and tried to contact the work for himself on the side and never completing the job down stairs gutter never done down spout & paint still on ground on back porch owner says that gutter was never in estimate but part of it is there on ground & I have a hand written estimate,so no just not worth time going to court 80% of work done !!!

Roof is still leaking after repairs completed. Repairs have been requested since August 2018.
Tiger Gutters repaired a portion of our roof, and gave us a five year warranty. The roof stopped leaking for while, but returned to leaking in the same spot. The business was contacted multiple times beginning in August of 2018. They no showed for several appointments and have not returned my most recent calls. I would like a partial refund since we had to hire another business to complete the repair work.

Desired Outcome

Partial refund

Repair of gutters was not completed.
The gutter repair was not completed after nearly 5 months of phone calls to the company and their many statements of coming back to my home to fix them, as recently as Jan. 5th of this year. They were paid in full for what I now believe was an inflated price. I found this company on Home Advisor. I have made a complaint to them also.

Desired Outcome

To complete the job correctly and in a timely manner. A refund of part of the price paid.

Customer Response • Jan 16, 2019

Consumer called in stating the company resolved her issue.

Tiger Gutters & Siding, also known as Tiger Construction, Owner ***, does shoddy work, does not stand by his work, and does not return calls.
I found "Tiger Construction" on the internet, and set up a time for someone to come over and give me an estimate on a job I wanted done. I wanted attick vents installed on my roof. Owner *** showed up the next afternoon and gave me a verbal quote ($650.00 for 4 vents). *** told me during this conversation that the vents would not work right if my "soffet vents were covered up by attick insulation". I agreed and we set up a date and time for work to be done (7/24/18 at 8AM). 8AM came and went that morning, and nobody showed up. I called and ***'s wife informed me that "he" was on the way. I thought she meant ***. Another hour goes by and I call again and ask to speak to ***. I informed *** that I really didn't think I needed 4 vents (all of my neighbors had 3) We agreed to a new quote of 3 vents for $500.00. I asked *** on the phone where vents would be placed. He said "2 in the back and 1 on the side". Someone finally showed up at 11:30 AM. It was not ***. He asked me where I wanted the vents. I told him what *** had said "2 in the back and 1 on the side", I went inside and he went on the roof to start work. I came out a few times to check on the guy, but I couldn't see from ground level where he was putting the vents. When he was finished with the vents, I told him that *** had told me that he would check my soffet vents to see if they were covered by insulation. The guy went up into my attick and informed me that most of my vents were covered by insulation. I asked if he would adress the issue, but he told me that he had another job to go to. While I was in the attick with the guy, I noticed that all 3 vents were bunched together. Two were about 5 feet from each other on either side of an existing ridge vent. The other was about 10 feet away, right next to the other existing ridge vent. None of the vents were at the back of the house. *** had said "2 in the back and 1 on the side". I called *** after the worker had left to tell him that I was not satisfied with the positioning of the vents, and that the worker did not uncover the soffet vents that were covered by insulation. He told me that he would "personally" come tomorrow to install a 4th vent at no charge, and he would have his employee adress the insulation issue. I offed to pay for the insulation part of the job since that was not part of the original quote. He said "no", it would be free. The next morning he did not show up. I called and he told me that his employee had been in a "minor fender bender" on the way to my house. I called my bank to ask about putting a stop payment on the check because I was starting to smell a rat, but decided to wait. I'd give him more time to show up. I called *** again to see where they were and got no answer. I called the bank back to do the stop payment, but was told that the check was cashed since my last call. I kept calling *** for the rest of the day and never got an answer. I left messages, but never got a call back. I called every day for several days and he never answered his phone. Since he cashed my check, he had no reason to talk to me. He had me make the check to "***", and not to the company name.
What I learned from this experience .... always check the Revdex.com website before hiring somebody, never give them the check before the job is 100% done, and never hire "Tiger Construction" or "Tiger Gutters & Siding" if *** is involved.

Desired Outcome

I would like them to do what they promised, and install the 4th vent. I would also like them to adress the insulation issue. I would insist on a 3rd party of my choosing be present to make sure they are doing the job correctly.

Improper installation of gutters onto our home ruining the drip edge and roof shingles resulting in roof repairs and refund request was denied.
In March 2018, I reached out to HomeAdvisor to locate a company to come install the gutters and contacted Tiger Gutters on 3/29/18. I spoke to the owner Todd *** and he came out and provided an estimate of $950 based on the details I provided. The price seemed high but Todd seemed like a genuine person and was available to perform the work that same weekend so I agreed and told him to move forward with the planned work. A week went by with no contact or work from Todd. Then out of the blue, Todd knocked at the door and said he is ready to perform the installation, stating he was in the hospital the week prior. I agreed for him to still do the installation. The material was brought in and two of his installers came to do the work. Todd was not present for the work so I asked his workers if they got with Todd on the details I wanted and they said yes. Once they were done, I told them that it was not installed the way Todd & I talked about with the high point at the corner and the gutters were not behind the drip edge. The installers said to wait until the first rain stating that they will drain well with the way it was installed. So I paid them $950 on 4/5/18 (check #2583) and they left. It rained on 4/14/18 and there was water spewing out between the facial of the house and the gutters. I contacted Todd to notify him this issue but no response or return phone call was made to me. I posted a poor review on HomeAdvisor to display my dissatisfaction. Todd's wife Shanna contacted me once she read the review and requested me to give them a chance to make things right. She asked if I would remove the poor review once the work has been correctly done. Reluctantly, I agreed. They sent the same installers to do the repairs, who were now disgruntled because they have to do re-work. They still did not put the highpoint where requested and I told them while they were still there that this is not correct. Angry, the installers started banging on the gutters with a hammer to get the bracket and gutter behind the drip edge. When they were unable to do so, they started prying up the drip edge with a wonder bar. They said work was complete and left. I got up on a ladder to look at the details from above and noticed that all of the nails on the roof line on the top side of the drip edge and starter shingles were pulled up and drip edge ruined. I had to use a rubber mallet to put the nails back down and silicon as much as I could to protect my home. Todd and Shanna came to my home to evaluate and Todd stated that he would personally take down all the gutters, install a new drip edge and then properly replace the gutters. I only agreed to this since he said he would do the work. Work was done on 5/9/18 while I was at work. Shanna texted stating that all work was complete and that she hopes we are satisfied. When I got home from work I went look and noticed that the new drip edge that was installed fell short at every corner by 3-4 inches instead of wrapping around. Nails were driven directly through the starter shingles and first row of shingles which allows water intrusion into the roof. All of the starter shingles were now ruined from removing the original drip edge improperly. I called Shanna to let her know of the damage done to my roof and she let me know that Todd did not come and fix the issues himself that he sent the same disgruntled installers. I told her that this was unacceptable and that I would now need a roofing company to repair my roof from the damage they caused. I requested to remove all of the gutters, refund the $950 I paid them and for them to pay to repair my roof to get our house back to the order it was in before they touched it. She refused and offered to come back again to fix it. I told her that they will not work on my house any further and that all I wanted was a refund and them to pay to repair the damage done to my roof. No further communication was made to me from Tiger Gutters even though I called and texted.

This contractor was paid in full and has not finished the project. He has told me he would come by hundreds of times and finish and has not
We had him come out and install gutters on the whole house. He was one section left to finish and will tell me he is coming and does not show up. This has been going on for almost a year. I need some help!!!!

Desired Outcome

Either come out and finsih the project or refund my money
