I am rejecting this response because: The fact of the matter is that Dustin took advantage of my tenants lack of technical knowledge Dustin stated to me that he need to recoup his lost money for cancelling a class This job to replace a 2' section of pipe and valve (not needed), does not cost $ Any reputable plumber will quote a lesser amount (average = $400) Furthermore, Dustin does not even know what a "French Drain" is and how they work from his response How could this be frozen 5' below grade in a heated garage?I will consider this closed if Dustin proved an adequate refund for the overcharged amount

I would like to address the complaint filed by [redacted] and [redacted], because their allegations against our organization are beginning to cause damage to our reputation. Attached to this email is the original invoice from the day of service that I would like to you look at as I will reference it...

in this response.   It was the first weekend of June when the [redacted]'s called our answering service for after hours emergency service. It was Sunday June 4th 2017 when the call came in. I don't know if you live in our service area or not but this was the first weekend that we received a very large heat wave. My On-call technician Zach, had just put a 14 hour day in the day before on Saturday, so I decided to jump in the Truck and help him on Sunday as I anticipated just as many calls on this Sunday as well. I tell you this because I have a first hand account of what actually took place.    I received the message from the answering service while Zach and I were still on our first service call of the day. I stepped outside to call the [redacted]'s back as Zach was still inside with our current customer. I listened to their needs and explained our services, I stated to them that we were on after hours service rates and it would be $199 for the service call. This would pay for drive time and diagnostics on their system. We would then quote for the repairs after finding out the problem. They happily agreed to the charges. So I then explained to them, that we currently still had a few calls ahead of them, and would try to get out to them as soon as we could. I reassured them that they would definitely still receive service today. They understood. Our calls took longer than expected and it was at around 430-500 when Zach didn't need my help any longer and we could split up. We agreed after the current call we were on, that he would head to Minneapolis to the [redacted]s and I would take the other 2 calls that came in after them.   Zach ran the [redacted] call like we run every call, with professionalism and integrity. Zach instructed the [redacted]'s that their system was low on refrigerant and it would be and additional $377.19 for refrigerant. Zach informed them that to add this much refrigerant means that their system has a leak but he was not able to see any signs visually. A leak check would need to be performed which is additional. Zach was successfully able to get the [redacted]'s back up and running and with cooling. Please see the attached invoice that was given to the [redacted]'s, as the verbiage of what I just explained to you is actually written on the invoice itself to reiterate to our customers that just by adding refrigerant, this does not guarantee the repair.   Approximately a month or so later, I noticed our social media and google reviews going off with negative reviews given from BOTH of the [redacted]'s. They never once, called us back after the repair and told us that their air conditioner stopped working again. They didn't even give us a chance to maybe explain again or do anything for them. They simply decided to call another company and have them come out. Our paperwork clearly states that they need to have a leak check and repair done on the air conditioning system, as well as our technician informed them of this as well.    We performed a service on an extremely hot day, got the customer up and running, and notified them that the problem was not completely fixed. They failed to follow any steps in correcting this, and when we told them that we refuse to to be black mailed into giving them a refund, they decided to take these steps. We feel that this is extremely unfair and that we did not do anything negative to this customer. We performed a service on a weekend and gave them a fair price. To bash our company because we wouldn't refund their money is not right.   Lastly, I would like to add that this service was our one and only time ever providing service to the [redacted]'s or anyone at this address. When they wrote their reviews (which is the complaint that you received, simply copied and pasted) they made a note in regards to something about the air conditioner not being installed properly and without a permit. Tiger Plumbing Heating and Air DID NOT install this system. Apparently the "new" company that they called, sold them a new air conditioning system and unfortunately and unethically "bashed" the installing company to make themselves look better. This is also not something that Tiger is not the habit of doing. But most importantly, I just want to make it clear that we did not install this system.   --   Sincerely,   Brian [redacted]

Sadly, Mr. [redacted] has resorted to slanderous lies and misinformation in this review. I can’t help but feel sorry for the amount of anger and hostility he has and truly hope that he will find peace soon. His tenants were very kind and helpful in saving Mr. [redacted] from what would have been a complete...

flooding of his entire basement. His tenants were extremely apologetic at how rude and for a lack of a better word ‘cheap’ Mr. [redacted] is. They assured me that they will call me for plumbing repairs that they need in a home they own near by and on the future home they are looking to purchase. Mr. [redacted] has a record of treating tenants poorly. After threatening my office staff, telling me how long work should have taken and how much he is willing to pay for emergency services when I had no dealings with him because he was not the one who called our company. What [redacted] failed to tell you is he was disgruntled because his tenants took it upon themselves to resolve an emergency situation by calling for professional help, opposed to waiting for his “inexpensive” handy man who even he (Mr. [redacted]) admitted is very ‘difficult to get ahold of’. The last time his tenants needed help with their broken dryer he gave them the runaround stating they ‘had to fix it themselves’. The real story is on one of the coldest days of winter his tenants called for emergency service prior to business hours requesting immediate service. After rearranging a completely booked schedule Tiger was on sight within 1 hour of the call. The garage pipes had frozen and burst flooding the garage. Also, a floor drain in the garage had froze causing the water to pool inside a freezing garage. Additionally and completely unrelated his tenant discovered the water main in the basement spraying against the wall and flooding the carpet nearby. In a panicked state the tenant proceeded to close all the valves she could find in their 2 mechanical rooms ( upwards of 10 different valves) which saved Mr. [redacted] from a potentially devastating flood of his entire basement. After spending ½ of the day on site working with the tenants to discuss everything from properly drying out the carpet to repairing the leaking water main, to prevent the garage from being an skating rink, I left the property of some of the most grateful, hospitable people I have ever worked with.
