physician, which [redacted] did and as soon as she gave us the doctors note we cancelled her contract immediately. As for he grandaughters contract, her change of job hours is not a legitimate reason for cancellation under the terms of the contract. There are still class times available around the same time Paige was coming in for class, so there is no legitimate reason for cancellation. Most of the contract time was used. I'm sorry if [redacted] is disappointed but there is nothing else I can offer.

Review: I gave 30 days notice that I was quitting my membership because I was moving. They wanted documentation which I provided. A few weeks later, I was charged for the NEXT month. When I tried to dispute it, they said that they charged me because I had been using it. My last month wasn't even over! I had paid for my last month already, and this charge was not only unfair but it also went against the contract.Desired Settlement: Refund of the month that I was wrongfully charged. They sales people also need to be more polite, professional and willing to work with people who are trying to cancel otherwise everyone who leaves will give them bad reviews and no referrals.

Review: I had joined TSMMA Williamsburg and was loving it but unfortunately I had injured my [redacted] and at this point in time I can no longer hold my end until further notice my membership while under medical attention. I had submitted a medical note like I was told to do, but in the mean while, I was still paying dues for services I was not using. Then unfortunately I was told at the last moment that my note was not approved and was offended because was told that the letter did not seem legit. I was accused of giving in a illegitimate letter. I received the letter directly from my doctor's office, I am so angry and offended right now and all they can do is ask for their dues. I am not attending classes and I can barely even get out of bed at times. I am on [redacted] and other medications to help cope with the [redacted] and [redacted]. I have to take physical therapy and all they worry about and harass me about is the dues and warn me about is late fees. I did what was expected of me and provided the medical note. I suffer from [redacted], now [redacted] and etc.Desired Settlement: Contract to be broken, I no longer wish to know anything about them!!!

Review: I have two issues one being I was never told that if I took a kick boxing course that my knee/hip could get worse. I signed up for a couse and mentioned to them that my knee was hurting and I wanted to get it working better. Nothing was said to me to watch different items I kick. I found out later after kicking the bag that per the doctor that caused my leg to get worse. The resistance of the bag hitting back at my knee made it worse. I now walk with a limp.

2) Grand daughter - I signed up for class and at the bottom it states parent, but I was told to go ahead and sign, if I had any problems they would not hold me to the contract. (bad practice my daughter should have signed) We have some isses but work it thru until the club changed the schedule. The schedule as littles as they state caused a major problem getting my Grand daughter there. I told them that the changed caused problems and she would not be able to attend. Two reasons no kickboxing class she could attend and made me have to be there 4 or 5 days a week were I cut back to 2 days per her Mother. I gave them wirtten notice of this and reason why. I know the contract does not exactly cover this but it also does not state they can change schedule at any time. I than got a bill to pay the rest of the contract. I did not cause this issue and did not just walk out because I wanted to and expected him to live up to the verbal contract that he would not hold me to the contract, I think his exact words were what type of a person would I be. He has now gotten 750 dollars from me for nothing, which is the type a person. I explained even if I wanted her to finish up the three months she could not because the schedule still does not work and I am starting a new job.Desired Settlement: I feel since he told me he would not hold me to the contract. I gave him 30 days notice. He admitted she was not there September, October and November I would allow them to keep my September payment just in case I was short 30 days. His assistant knew prior to me writing but I am not going to fight. I feel they owe me for the next 2 months and he needs not to say that to anyone again since he does not mean it.

Response:

This has never been resolved because they changed their schedule and itcould not fit into the schedule that I had. I did not leave because Iwanted to they canceled their end of the contract by changing theirschedule. When I signed up their was one schedule and that is what I agreedto and they decided to change it. They are in breach of contract not me. Inow want my money back because they are now not living up to what theystated.

Response:

Sorry you feel that way but there is nothing more I can do. There are some lies in her story about verbal agreements that were never made. She must live up to her end of the contract or it will be turned over to a collection agent
