The only thing that was broken, is the hood prop plastic retainer This is a very common failure on this vehicle, especially being at years old The repair required the entire piece to be removed, and a little nipple broke off, we will assume no responsibility for this, as it is business as usual when doing a repair like this We even were nice enough to manufacture a repair, to properly secure the hood prop I apologize, and I have already spoke to the staff over at that location, about telling you that parts have been ordered, as there are no parts, to be replaced, the repair is complete, and you will no longer ever hear a rattle while driving down a bumpy road

In light of the fact that you still want to center this issue around repairing a "clip", the many,many occasions you've had to rectify this, your lack of trustworthiness and integrity, I decline to leave my vehicle with you, or any affiliate of yours as I fear that this will only develop into a whole other issue or an act of retributionI propose you either pay me the monies requested to repair my vehicle, plus a two day car rental OR I will get a written estimate from Hooks Lincoln on West Freeway as to the cost to properly repair my vehicle and you can pay them directly I will also get an invoice/estimate for a two day car rental, of which you can pay them directlyIn the case that a check is issued, I will request both companies to run those checks before any work or rental Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: In the response read from Tilden Auto Car Care , they did not deny the fact that damage was done to the part in question while repairing my car, but that because the vehicle was ten years old, a courtesy was performed by jerry-rigging part or parts that they damaged by their technicianThe fact remains that my vehicles designed was altered unnecessarilyIn addition I was not made aware by shop posting are receipt correspondence that Tilden was not liable for damage done to a vehicle while making repairs Regards, [redacted]

When repairing a vehicle that is over years old, little things will break, and sometimes he been big things, it's the same as going in for surgery on a patient, these things happen, we cannot be held accountable for a plastic clip that breaks during the repair of a vehicle, we have made a new plastic clip for him and attached it, and his complaint this fixed If a customer wants a new vehicle, they need to go out and purchase one When you open up an 85-year-old lady for heart surgery, there can be complications, same thing with working on a vehicle at that age

I am rejecting this response because: First, the vehicle is a 2007, in pristine condition. Now, we are not talking about Young or old patients,  new or old cars. It's about PROPERLY returning to me my car in the same condition of which I intruded it to you.  The damage is more extensive then just jerry rigging a "nipple". Consider this,hypothetically, suppose instead of my paying you an amount that we both agreed upon to wash and clean "a window " on your car, but while cleaning your window I accidentally put a scratch in it, it doesn't obstruct your view, but it affects to way the wiper blade contacts the window.  Now, wouldn't you want that properly fixed, or would you except some after market, out of the junk parts bin material to affect a repair. And except the rational that "Oh, the glass was over ten years old and because of that we decided jerry rigged some kind of concoction to put on because to have a proper fix, we would have to replace the entire glass."
