Review: [redacted]'s crew was hired to do the tile portion of a complete bathroom remodel in my second floor bathroom. After resolving a plumbing leak caused by his crew driving nails into the plumbing, rust began forming around the drain of the shower. My general contractor fixed the first instance, but contacted [redacted] after it reappeared a second and again, a third time. [redacted] came out and said he would charge me to make a patched repair and that it was the fault of the grout manufacturer. The grout manufacturer sent a technical representative to my home and performed tests on the grout used in the shower. Those results indicated that the grout was improperly installed by [redacted]s' crew who, by their own admission and [redacted]'s confirmation, didn't use the proper sealing method prior to installing and grouting the tile. [redacted] has since not responded to my emails or phone calls for more than two months. My shower floor continues to degrade and as of today, when a rock/tile came up from the floor exposing the subsurface, it has become completely unusable.Desired Settlement: According to the the grout manufacturer and my general contractor, the only way to fix the issue is to completely remove the floor of the shower, properly seal it and retile/regrout it.
