0 stars is not an option but if it was that would be my rating. If you are a vet in my experience you would be animal lover and want the best for these little fur babies. I went in on Monday for their vaccine clinic because the prices were reasonable and during the pandemic they were still offering it. I took my 8 week old pug whom fits in the palm of your had. That night I noticed when I picked him up to rock him he yelped and there was about a quarter sized bump on his back where I assume they gave his vaccine. He was in pain and since it was after hours I figured I'd call in the am. I called them and explained my issue and I was told for peace of mind I can bring him in and not be charged but its probably a reaction to the vaccine. My boyfriend took him in and called me explaining that he needs medication and that we would be charged for the visit. A total of $60. I called and explained what I was told earlier and it was explained that we have to pay for the visit if the Dr. is going to prescribe meds because he could loose his license if not due to the fact that meds were being prescribed. That made sense so I agreed. They gave my baby remidyl which is kinda harsh for such a little thing. That night my pug did not stop with diarrhea and it was concerning. Again after hours I waited until the am to call the office. I explained my issue and was told to watch him during the day and re-evaluate in the afternoon. By the afternoon my pug was vomiting. I called the office and was told I should bring him in again and I did so. I called the office when I arrived and explained whom I was and was told to wait a few and they would come get him. I waited about 25 min and realized I wasn't asked what car I was in. We have to wait in our cars due to the pandemic. There were quite a few cars waiting for the restaurant next door and some patients. I called to explain but I was not heard and told patients are ahead of me with appointments. I said thats great I just want to make sure they know my vehicle because I was not asked. At this point I am nervous because this is our baby and I just want him well. She explained they know my car (still have not asked what car I was in) and to wait. I did so and then about 15 min later someone comes out looking for someone. She looked in random cars with no one in them. I knew it was for me so I made movement. She came over and asked if I had the pug and gave her my little guy. She returned with an invoice and explained the Dr suggest some meds for re-hydration and to create good flora. I noticed again a charge to see the Dr. I explained I already paid that and paid it yesterday and why was that being charged again. I was told it was policy. I explained what happened the day before even though I was told I didn't have to pay that fee but I agreed because obviously I don't want Dr. to loose his license and my puppy in pain. She agreed and said she would speak with her manager. My bf called and asked if I spoke with them because he had a missed call. He was at work. I had already spoke to them and advised him. He called me again and said that the Dr. called him and explained he wants to run tests etc. My bf was asking about procedures and prices because obviously he is little. The Dr put him on hold and my bf got disconnected because honestly his phone is not the best. He called me because again he was at work and super busy to advise the Dr was going to run tests etc and as he was talking the Dr called again. He answered and was told since he is arguing and hungup on him he chooses to not service our pet and hung up. When they brought the pup to me the woman was holding him with arms fully extended out in front. Keep in mind when you hold him like that you touch the bump and it hurts him. I saw them bring other dogs out with them to their chests but not mine. It was like because the Dr fired us as patients it doesn't matter about the pet. I said thank you and no response I said it again and she said something but her back was turned so I am not too sure what it was but she was not friendly at all. My issue is this happened on their dime. I'll pay for meds but don't think everytime I have to pay a re-check fee when these are clear side affects of the meds and vaccine. Please save your time and money and go somewhere else. The lack compassion and are taking advantage of people. I should have read the reviews prior.
