describes the amount as in dispute.The terms describe a routine process that we use at Tilting Motor Works to confirm the deposit and assess compatibility of our product with the customer's motorcycle. If incompatible, the customer is still free to leave the deposit in place to maintain his or her place in the order queue. Sometimes we add a new model and sometimes the customer gets a different bike. We followed the process in timely fashion, informing the customer that we have no product to fit the bike she rides, a Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide, and no projected date when it might be available. She placed her complaint with the Revdex.com at that point, so we called her to see what she wanted to do with her deposit. Because she was unwilling to accept anything other than our commitment to retrofit her motorcycle, we issued her refund.We had never asked the customer to ship her motorcycle to us and wait, as her complaint indicates, or to assume any shipping expense. She did not ship the bike and assumed no such expense.We are also attaching a screen capture of the relevant passage on our Frequently Asked Questions page, indicating the motorcycles for which we offer a compatible product. Harley-Davidson has manufactured hundreds of models over the years, including dozens in the Dyna category into which the customer's bike falls. We believe the customer read this passage to mean that we support all models in the Dyna category including hers. We have since modified the language on this page to clarify that only select models are supported. We thank the customer for calling this to our attention and she remains welcome to retrofit a different bike. The company remains backordered, and any new deposit remains subject to a potentially lengthy wait.
