Towing company was aware of this and therefore took  my vehicle without having a title and based it on a time frame that was in the hands of the insurance company. They had all claim info and lawyer info. No excuse. This was based on a contract with local police to tow cars from accident scene.

Review: On 5/22/2015 my vehicle was towed from an accident scene by Tilton Body/Towing of Lakewood. The same day I gave insurance information and was informed by the office manager to sign a note stating the insurance company had permission to look the vehicle over. Even knowing this vehicle was an insurance hold, Tony moved my vehicle off the premises without notice to myself or insurance company. As of 10/6/2015, they do not know the exact whereabouts of their three locations this vehicle is at. They have inventory software and yet cannot tell me where it is. I want the whereabouts of my vehicle made known to me.Desired Settlement: I want my vehicle delivered back to location it was removed from without permission and I want to be made aware that it was put back.

Review: I had an accident back in june the 29 and my vehicle was towed to tilton body works. My insurance company sent me to sign a release form so they could fix my car. When I went to do it, Tony the manager or owner told me that he could do a better job than the insurance and could do it with the same time: 3 to 4 weeks. The job initial estimate 12000 but could go more according to both my insurance and Tony. Tony told me that the job was big and he needed the money so he wanted the job, I told him as long as is my car's repair is done in 4 weeks I had no problem with it.

The repair didn't go as planed, repairs end up adding to 20929 dollars, it took them more that 3 months to do it( received my car the december 11) and there were some issues with my car. 1; carpet was not installed properly as is was lumpy, 2; car side door which was replaced was not closing all the way and was making popping noises when opening and closing , 3; the cover plastic of the inside of the car was loose and made noises when I drive in bumpy roads, 4; 2 seat belts retractor didn't function.

When my car was given to me the first time they also gave me warranty for parts and labor so 3 day after got my car brought the car back to them so they could fix the problem, I was told they were busy but they were happy to fix as long as I take it to them on january the 14.

January the 14 I take to them and they are surprise to see me, they tell me they don't recall our meeting but they would take my car. 2 weeks later I call for updates and they tell me they are done.

when supervise my car I notice the carpet was better, only one of the two seat belt retractor was fix, and the door was still making the same noises. I also notice damage done on the outside drivers door. when I confronted him about it Tony said his job was done and that all the extra work he did was for free.Tony refused to talk to me and did not want to finish the repairs.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to repair my sliding door, tightening the plastic cover on the back so it doesn't make sounds on bumpy roads, and fix the seat belt retractor.
