All of the checks have been overnighted, however, our corporate office made a mistake and mailed her check to the leasing office I will be contacting her today to see if she would like to pick it up or have us overnight it directly to her Thank You,

We received the resident's application and moved her in based on her criteria We were not aware that the current resident had a dog She was in violation of her lease However, we did send a violation letter to the current resident as well as called her She was given a notice that the dog must be removed When the new resident came to us and requested to be let out of her lease, we agreed because we already had someone else wanting to move in We cannot allow someone that is not a current resident into a mailbox that does not belong to them However, we did offer to speak to the mailman and request that he bring her mail to us to be held for her Once a resident moves out the check must be mailed within days Her first check was mailed Unfortunately, she did not receive it She let us know, and we cancelled that check We then reissued the check and requested that it be sent to our office along with other checks from the same batch We let her know of this issue She contacted us to see if the check had arrived and I let her know that we had not received the check, and I would call her if we did I also let her know she could feel free to call me anytime I explained that we have been having issues with [redacted] and a lot of our invoices have not been arrive to our office At this time our corporate office has cancelled another check and has create a new one that will be overnighted to her address this weekThank You

In March of we received a written request to check the HVAC in this apartment due to the unit not cooling We ordered a brand new unit and had it replaced inside and out I spoke with the resident, in May, when he came in to speak about his bill I let him know that there could be a couple of thing that could cause the issue If the thermostat was placed in the on position instead of auto, it would run constantly and never stop He needed to speak with his roommate to make sure that he did not have any items running in his bedroom that were drawing large amounts of electricity We did send maintenance to check the unit after that conversation, and the unit was running correctly However, he did change the air filter After that conversation, I did not have contact from either resident in that apartment

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]I will provide additional testimony to support Savoy Apartments negligence in resolving the excessive use of electricity.My son confirms that prior to December of the AC units was in fact set to on instead of autoEven when that was taking place the electricity bill was never as high as the several months in He also confirms that his roommate moved out in Mid May so the consumption of electricity was limited to one tenant not twoSo for 1/month the apartment only had one tenantMy son indicates that his roommate also went into the office to complain about the bill and was told nothing could be done by the staff in the office.He also indicates he was not aware of the HAVAC being completely changed so if that was done it was done while he was not there.It is still our position that the building did not do enough to resolve the billing of excessive electricityIf in fact they changed out the HAVAC unit it did not resolve the issue and nothing further was done to resolve the matter.I assume that the since the problem was not costing the apartment complex any revenue they had no incentive to resolve the matter as that would mean they would need to invest in a solutionAt this time I am only asking for fair reimbursement of the dollars my son paid in the excessive billing of electricity.Other tenants and any future tenants need to be made aware of this situation.
