delay in getting tag and title They took out of days to get my tag and I still do not have the title If the car was titled before then once they got all their money I should have been given the title (which they did not do) I was also told they would TRANSFER my tag to their car They ordered a new tag instead Still no title How could they sell a car if they did not have the title in their possession? Once they was paid in full they should have handed me the title but I still do not know the status of the title I have had to call them several times trying to find the location of the tag They kept giving me a date to expect it but those were not met I finally did receive my tag days before it expired isn't that cutting it too close? It could have been prevented by handing over the title to the paid for car and I could have gotten the tag myself The title clerk was never very helpful and kept evading our questions My complaint is against her NOT the salesman

Salesman said I would get years of maintenance, and I only received Salesman and Finance guy stated I would receive three years maintenance with the purchase of my new vehiclewhen the paperwork come to my home a few weeks after, it stated only two yearsThey lied to me, luring me into a purchase on pretenseI would not have otherwise purchased this carNow, no person involved in my sale is still employed with Germain, days after purchase so they cannot confirm

I purchased a car there 4/18/i did not receive any paper work so I called the salesman and after a few weeks still nothingi called back and eventually did get the papersi met with a high pressure guy who sold me many dollars of coverage I didn't needi then went to the dealership and signed a cancellation form 6/18/and was told I would receive the pro-rated balanceon 717/i received a check from the dealership for $stating it was a sales tax refund for service cancellationsi have tried every day to reach someone at this dealership to no availi have left messages to call me no callsmy hope is #i get my money back and #to report this so it may not happen to someone else Product_Or_Service: 4/12/

Highlander in for same repair times Last visit was Aug 10, Was told the repair would be done at no charge anythingTold now there is The tube from the moon roof was draining water in to the car Several attempts to repair resulted what was the plastic end of the tub after sevral other bad repairsTo include drilling holes in to a perfectly built carcar was sent to a auto body shop that correctly diagnosed the problemMY carpets are now ruined and mold has infected the car several time Now they state they will credit me $and there is still a bill I had a agreement with a represntiative from the Service Dept that there would not be any charge what so ever Was told if I wanted to pick up my vehicle I had a bill to payI was told the representative was not longer thereMany in the service dept are aware of this on going problem Also witness to the verbal agreement of absolutely no charge for the repair of of this reoccurring problem

Terrible service, shady sales, stay awayPeterson Toyota of Sarasota sold me a Tacoma with a leaky tireI made multiple trips to service, several calls to sales, left messages with managers and never received a return callAt first they would not admit to the problem, then they acknowledged the issue but would not fix it correctlyThey expect me to accept one mismatched tire on a newly purchased vehicle that was sold with four matching good tiresSeriously? Who would think that is acceptable? Stay away from this dealership

Recall of dash that was not honored
We received a recall notice from Toyota about our 4Runner dash replacement, over a year agoWe have been contacting Toyota of Sarasota off and on for over a year about this issueEvery time we contacted them they told us they don't have the part and it has to be manufactured and they are having problems getting the partThey told us to be patient and they will take care of the recallThe last time we contacted them, they told us that the recall date had passed and they weren't going to do anythingThey have been jerking us around for over a year about this recall and I believe it was an attempt to stall the recall deliberately past the recall date so they wouldn't have to honor the recallWe would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue and have Toyota honor their recall on the dash

On April 21, 2017, I purchased a brand-new Toyota Highlander from Sarasota Motorcars, LLC, Louisville d/b/a *** of Sarasota located at STamiami Trail., Sarasota, FL I'd received a promotional flyer in the mail from *** of Sarasota, so I scheduled an appointment for 4:00pm on April 21, I met with a salesperson by the name of Briar and proceeded to provide him with the requested information for the credit application: place of employment, length of employment, monthly income ($2500), etcI advised that I would like something with a third row as I have four (4) children
At the time, I had a *** ($*** owed) with an estimated 19% interest rateBriar insisted that I allow him to "help me" get out of a deal with such a high interest rate into something much newer with a lower interes

I was called by the dealer to bring my car in for a safety recall I made an appointment and brought my car to the dealership on Friday, November I was told by the service rep that the car would be done that day or Saturday the latest I was lent a "small under powered, low end" Toyota Corolla for the one day that I was to be without my Avalon I received a voice mail message saying that the part required to perform the repair, for which they had called me, was not in stock I was quite upset that they requested I bring in the car for the safety repair when they did not know that the part required was not available On Saturday November I started to call the dealership I called exactly times and left messages for the Service Manager, messages for the General Manager and message with the receptionist who assured me she would take the message to one of the aforementioned managers I received no calls from the dealership I called the Toyota regional office and sp

The problem started when I first made a contract with that dealer they were rushing and dindn't want me to read the contract before I signThey send me home with the new vehicle and without having a bank where to make my payments , then after like month they contact me to resign a contract saying that the bank didn't want me because they didn't like my social security because I'm a green card holderThey were practically obligating me to re sign contract which I didn't do , they misstreated me and used racist coments like " it's not my fault you have that visa" then I told them to stop there and gave me my down payment back that I didn't want the car anymore and they still proceed and told me they can't do anything violating my rigthsThey would not do anything to solve the problem
