I will contact Mr. [redacted].  I disagree that there is a 10 year warranty with our company.  I will review his warranty document and assist him in making a claim the the third party provider as appropriate.  I reiterate that we stand behind our product and are here to assist the many families and households we have built and worked for over the years.

Response to Statement of the Problem:Timeline with respect to warranty coverage:  This home was sold with a one year warranty from the date of occupancy, approximately June 6, 2013.  During the one year warranty period we note that two separate warranty claims were submitted.  The...

first on or about October 7, 2013 and the second on or about May 14, 2014.  Per our records items were reviewed and completed during this time frame.  Additional follow up this work was performed between March 31, 2016 and May 19, 2016 due to a complaint filed and closed with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The complaint makes mention of extensive foundation and roof damage - we are not aware of such damage, nor was it noted on properly submitted warranty claims during the warranty period.  The complaint makes mention of a 10 year structural damage repair agreement - there is no such agreement.  To our knowledge an extended warranty (as offered by third party vendors, not our company) was not purchased.  The complaint makes mention of using unskilled and unlicensed workers - Timber Ridge Builders, Inc. uses properly insured and licenses sub-contractors; and, even though this home was built outside of the City of Waynesville's jurisdiction, it was constructed to meet the same building codes and by the same sub-contractors used to build within the City limits of both Waynesville and St. Robert, Missouri. The complaint mentions that Timber Ridge Builders, Inc. preys on military families - We work and strive to provide an exceptionally valuable product to the communities we serve.  We have great respect and admiration for our Military family customers.  We are thankful for them and support them in every way we can.  We have worked diligently to provide products and services to these communities for over twelve years and feel that we have a working relationship that we all can be proud of. The complaint requests that repairs be made for structural damage of the home.  In an effort to show goodwill and our appreciation to our customers we will make contact with the homeowner to review issues they may have and will advise on procedures to be addressed with their insurance coverage or other repair options.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: it took us two years and finally with the help of the VA to get our one year warranty repairs taken care of. The company breached our contract even though we submitted all repairs on time. We have little confidence that they will contact us with a plausible solution. The 10 year structural warranty information was given to us by via another home owner who is deal with the exact same issues with this company. He is fighting this just as we are. We just wanted to make the Revdex.com aware of what active duty and retired personnel are going through with this company. Many of us are afraid to challenge what this company is saying, we have spent thousands of dollars and already had to file two claims with our insurance company regarding the poor craftsmanship of our less than four year old home. The Revdex.com will make its own determination, but we are real people locked into a mortgage trying to deal with this house. It is not fair nor is it right that we should be dealing with these issues. Every house on our side of the street built around the same time has the same issues. We know this because we have spoken with other home owners. We cannot sell our home in this condition even if we wanted to. One final note we have had an independent contractor who has repeatedly built buildings for Fort Leonard Wood, MO look at our home and stated that there is more things that were done wrong than right. We are not making this up to cause problems, this is what we are dealing with.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
