 Timber tree delivered wood to my address, the driver dumped the wood and asked me to sign the slip . I refused because I told him that I didn't think it was a half cord of wood. When I staked the wood I came up with 1 row stacked 4 foot tall by 6 foot long .  That's approximately 36 cu feet and that's with staking the crotch wood which is difficult to stack and takes up twice as much space as normal straight pieces. A half cord is 64 cubic feet. Thimber tree is welcome to call me and make an appointment to see the row of wood that they delivered .[redacted]?

We are resolving this issue with the consumer's desired resolution and delivering an additional half a cord of seasoned, dry wood, that is cut 16"-18".  I have spoken with the consumer who made the complaint and we have agreed on a delivery date for this wood.  We have also revised our processes in house to deter from consumers accepting loads which would be undesirable to them or not meeting their expectations, by requiring an acceptance or denial of load upon delivery.

I am writing to respond to complaint #[redacted] by [redacted].  We delivered the wood to 2 Charlene Road, North Providence, Mr. [redacted] stated the wood was not seasoned, which it was.  Some peices may have been smaller than the 16-18 inches stated, but the size no matter will still...

burn the same way in your fireplace or woodstove, etc.  I feel we broght Mr [redacted] the product he asked us to deliver and paid for it.  I feel the cord of wood was delivered as it should have been.  I do not recall any other complaints other than this one.Thank YouTimber Tree Service, Inc

First, I stated that the wood was wet, I never mentioned that it wasn't seasoned . I left it where he dropped it to let it air dry for a few weeks . When I went to stack it I realized that only the wood on the top of the pile were 15" to 18" .  That was less than a 1/4 of a cord .the rest of the wood was anywhere from  10" to 14" with the average being 13 to 14". When the wood was stacked, it was a little more than a HALF CORD ! Timber Tree said that some of the wood may have been smaller than the 16 to 18 " it wasn't some , it was the majority of the load . I offered Thimber Tree to look at pictures of the stacked wood , so that he could see that I was short almost a half cord .  and [redacted] refused , he said he wood come to my address and look at the wood and he didn't . About him stating that " All WOOD BURNS THE SAME " .Will a stacked  12" piece burn as long as a 16"piece?
