Adam E. [redacted] required a $20,390.00 down payment to construct an addition to our existing home. He cashed the check in July 2014, kept giving excuses as to why the project had not started. When told in December 2014 we wanted our money returned he quickly hired subcontractor to pour a foundation for the room- he never paid for the materials used; he never paid the workers; he lied and said he had the [redacted] Inspector out to o.k. foundation forms-concrete was poured then found out he never notified the City; we discovered the workers had never poured a foundation before-only driveways and patios. Adam [redacted] did not pay the architecth that drew up the plans. Adam also cheated another couple for $25,000- the architecht put us in contact with this couple as he had drawn their plans at Adam's request. He is a liar and a cheat. The Court has granted us a " default judgment" against Mr. [redacted]. Beward of this man.
