Some of the most unprofessional individuals I've ever encountered Our house was built by them and- after ~year- we had to replace a rotting back door that was improperly installed We've also had to replace all of our windows because they were ALSO installed incorrectly After parking in front of our house- instead of the hundreds of feet of empty street on the other side of their work siteWe have a limited space to park in that isn't blocking the mailbox or our trashcan on pickup day and it seems odd that my wife should have to park down the road, in front of their construction site- walk past the workers who used to stop working to leer and whistle at her before we finished our backyard fence- and carry our year old daughter (and groceries) up to the house during a rainstorm
My mother was concerned about lugging an infant and groceries a block to the house so she politely asked them to move the vehicle to the other side, or even in front of their work site No action after a dismissive response We waited a while, I offered to go talk to them because the situation was stressing my mom out and- as someone suffering from stage cancer- I figured it would be better However, she came out with me and asked again while I was trying to rearrange the cars to make room for my wife's car
The gentleman who had parked his truck came out and proceeded to argue with her; I interceded when he began trying to physically intimidate her and enter her personal spaceFirst he claimed he wasn't in front of our property (despite the clear marker), then he told her she was rude and he could park where ever he wanted He cursed at her a few times and walked off as I helped my mom back inside Then we got to hear him and the rest of Timberland Contractor's employees swap sexist, degrading insults about her and homophobic slurs about me
We reached out to Timberland Contractors since they built our house and we live in their subdivision; we expected a measure of professionalism or decorum Instead they promised to send someone out, it never happened, they blocked our attempts to contact them on facebook and they've decided to park even closer to our cars
I had to drive through my grass to back out because their construction crews are parking mere inches from my bumper There are again vast empty areas of road closer to their construction site (and in front of where they are working), but they've elected to block my vehicle in
Their cars and equipment are leaving behind large puddles of oil and hydraulic fluid behind, staining the curb and pavement We have had to pick up litter left behind (food/drink containers, plastic wrap, paper, etc.) by their employees daily in order to keep up with the deluge of garbage The cherry on top of this whole situation was the suspicious, "anonymous" complaint lodged against my family directly through the personal number of a county supervisor regarding sheds in our back yard shortly after my other negative reviews were published on Google
It seems that Timberland Contractors is truly an unprofessional company who employee/contract rude, insulting workers I intend to share my experiences with Timberland Contractors with friends and family as well as anyone I happen to encounter who are in the market for a new home Beware
