We have been in contact with Big Red Roofing to address concerns with the A/C installation We have coordinated with Big Red Roofing to satisfy MsGross' concerns We are requesting MsGross to coordinate with Big Red Roofing as soon as possible

On June 21, ASAP installed a new AC which replaced a ton AC. My house has a foam roof The old air conditioner was rectangular in shape and the new AC is square. Before installation I specifically discussed with WAYNE the owner, that I was concerned about damage or removal of anything that might damage the foam roof since the "footprint" of the new AC would changeThe previous AC was held up with wood supports which were foamed into the roofI asked specifically, and instructed both Wayne and his installers specifically NOT to remove these wood supports..because it would affect the foam roofI was told not to worry becuase they would be using the same supports to hold the new AC and would not be removing anythingThis week, I had my roof looked at by a rooferI went up on my roof with him and found that one of the wood supports was there but the other wood support from the prior AC unit had been removed and was completely missing In the area where this wood support had been there was now a groove in the foam, and the foam in and along this outline , which was never coated ( because it never had to be) was now exposed to the sun and elements and susceptible to leaksAlso, the groove which runs feet under the AC will now collect water, and act as a low spot , which also could lead to leaks My roofer also noted that the AC unit is installed improperly on my foam roof The metal unit is sitting directly on the foam roof, instead of on recommended wood supports. This will eventually cut into my foam and compromise the roof as the ac unit moves however slightly, It's also a problem because now there is no way to get underneath the AC to do standard roof maintenence and coatings because there is no room to do soMy roofer stated that this AC unit should have been raised up higher when installed on a foam roof. It needs to have an additional elbow added to the duct to raise up the connection, so that (2) 4x4s can then be used to properly raise up and support the unit ( as with the previous unit). This new section of duct will need to be foamed.and coated. Then foam underneath where the groove is will then need to be filled in to raise it up and properly coated like the rest of the roof is so it can be exposed to the sunThe new 2x2's need to run downslope, ( N to S) to allow the water around the AC to drain freelyI have heard this same information from roofing contractors this week and it is very clear ASAP did a sub par installation on my roof. I want this problem fixed immediatelyI want ASAP to work with my roofer, and change the AC support system to the proper height so that roof maintenence be performed. I want ASAP to pay for the foam repair that needs to be done in that area. ASAP did not follow my instructions and then they lied to me about what they did on my roof. They did not pull a permit like they should and they did an improper install on top of itI have lost all confidence in ASAP and want to select the roofer that I trust to do the associated workPlease direct any correspondance about this matter to me in writing I will NOT take phone calls from this company other than to schedule the work requested. Please note,, I will be unavailable to deal with this issue AUG thru Sept and will not be able to address any correspondance or provide any responses during that time

I will await this receipt in the mail before closing the casebut have not received anything yet. Thank you
