Mobility Medical was contacted thru [redacted] and MS Dept of Rehab Service to be deliver a chair in which [redacted] specified Our ATP ( [redacted] ) cannot spec out a wheelchair of this type of customization on his own As soon as the mother alerted Mobility Medical to the problems, we have asked the MS Dept of Rehab Services to coordinate another evaluation to be done at [redacted] Center Mobility Medical does not have the authority to approve or disapprove a wheelchair, nor does Mobility Medical have the ability to authorize visits to [redacted] Center It is also up to the clinicians that prescribe the chairs, and up to the payer sources as to what Mobility Medical can and cannot do We will work within our scope as a DME provider, and will be willing to correct the chair based off of the [redacted] 's re-assessment, as to when this will occur will solely be based off of MDRS' willing to pay for this re-assessment at [redacted] The contacts at [redacted] and MDRS are well documented and both aware of the situation/s in the day in which we were alertedSince there is a safety issue, we advise all patient's caregiver to have an emergency preparedness plan in place that allows for a back up in which the patient's caregiver is responsible, not the responsibility of Mobility Medical In this particular situation Mobility Medical as well as the client and her mother are limited in our power to do anything further until the patient is seen back at [redacted] Center asap Thank you for using the Revdex.com as the go between, Mobility Medical's approach to this situation should not be just ( [redacted] ) going out on his own to correct as he was not the one that specified the chair originally Patient's such as this require a team approach to problem solving as her needs are very complex and should be handled with the utmost customization particular to her needs specifically That is why we cannot just go to her house, her case must be well documented thru an accredited seating clinic of her and the payer's agreed choice At the time of a re-assessment we show up to help orchestrate delivery of the specific item the team chooses Mobility Medical is sincere and very much care for all patient's and their needs and are very sorry for any complaint and will work diligently within our means and scope to rectify this situation as soon as we are allowed to do so by MDRS and [redacted] Center
