this letter as this letter arrived during my vacation time.This letter is to respond to the complaint letter sent to you by Miss *** ***, an x resident at the Timber's Edge Aptsin unit #***.I'd like to thank you in advance for taking your time as well as your consideration as you mentioned in your letter that "Revdex.com makes no judgment as well as recognizing that there are two sides to every dispute".1- On August 28th Miss *** came into our office stating she was in need of an apartment and had to move in as soon as possible due to being homeless(Enclosed copy of guest card filled out by applicant.) *** *** leasing agent was told by *** that she had been sleeping in her car due to an abusive boyfriendMrs*** got with maintenance man to get # *** immediately ready, since the painter, carp t had been shampooed and the housekeeper had already cleaned itIt was agreed that *** would pay apartment deposit in the amount of due to having a rental balance from previous apartment complex (we normally request month of rent in deposit when having negative rental history)Even though *** didn't have all the money she pleaded to allow her to move in with the agreement that she would pay deposit balance of $on or before 09/15/to which was never paid*** complained of pet hair and smell so it was agreed to replace the carpet (see copy of invoice.) *** also complained about a pet smell in the laundry room so I had the maintenance men remove the laundry equipment as well as the housekeeper wash the area with water and bleach(see invoices)2- On Monday September 22, message was received about a smell coming from the bathroom and kitchen sink areasBoth Manager *** *** and Leasing agent *** *** inspected this unit, there was no smell other than "a very clean apartment" work request were written up for leak and for the painter as wellShe also complained about the garbage disposal to which maintenance found screws stuck inside and left it working properlyAnother complaint was about very small holes at the bottom which were covered with caulkThe exterminator was also sent to treat her unit.3- On September 22, Office received another complaint, from Miss *** again about the smell(Please keep in mind that the housekeepers know that running the laundry equipment in part of the cleaning.) Miss *** kept on complaining about horrible smell in her unit, yet there was no foul, no bad smell by that time, not even the paint smell was present, except that this unit smelled nothing more and nothing less than VERY CLEAN4- By September 29th Miss *** made management aware that she had been in the hospital due to the sickness from the smell and throwing up so bad she had had a miscarriageEven though management found no foul smell in this unit and maintenance had already taken care of all work requests made by Miss ***, she was offered to transfer into another unit and was also given the option of moving out without breaking of the lease charges with a days written noticeAt that time Miss *** agreed to stay in #*** but after a few days she changed her mind and agreed to move out instructions were delivered to #*** which shows the prorated rent amount due 5- Miss *** turned in a move out notice and wrote she would be moving out by November 15th 2014, (copy enclosed) instead she turned in apartment keys on Saturday 1st and showed up to do the walk through onMonday 3rd with manager and paid no prorated rentDuring the conversation she showed me a bruise on her knee and said that she is a sleep walker and that was also another reason why she moved in to a 2nd or 3rd floor afraid she may get up in the middle of the night and get out of her apartment.We honestly feel management and maintenance did all within our part to keep Miss *** satisfied but unfortunately there seemed to have no end or satisfaction to her complaints, and even though she was given the opportunity to be released from the Lease Contract she still called on November 14th and in a sarcasm tone of voice made it clear that she had received the move out report and that "I kept her deposit and we were not to receive a penny from her" and rudely hang up the telephone without giving me a chance to speak a wordI’m enclosing a copy of her final report balance in the amount of only $146.94.Thank You for taking the time and consideration with this matter. *** ***-Property Mgr

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Clearly everything stated was not accurate or else this would have been discussed with me when I returned to the property to complete a walk through with [redacted]. The property manager and her leasing agent [redacted] was notified that I am LEGALLY married no boyfriend was ever spoken upon. The property was given proper notice to complete the repairs needed and fix the issues with the property but did not do so. Instead [redacted] told me in a sarcastic tone, "You know this is not a A+ property and it seems like you came from an A+ property." I was never offered the option to move into another unit. [redacted] stated that my refund would be in the mail in 3-5 business days after the walk through and as a record and portrayed not to have my address already on file which was given to [redacted] when I turned in my keys after my new place was ready. I have also filed a complaint against the previous apartment that I lived in because they kept my deposit as well and never did a walk through with me after I moved out or ever advised me of any balance due since I was ahead in paying my rent. I will take this to court and I have pictures after I moved out of both units to prove my claim. Texas apartments seem to have a track record of keeping previous tenants deposits and I plan to put an end to this.Regards,[redacted]
