Time Investment Company, Inc. Reviews (47)

I am writing in response to complaint id# [redacted].  This issue has been resolved.  The account has been paid in full and the lien has been terminated. Thank you, [redacted]Customer Service ManagerTime Investment Co. Inc

I am writing in regard to complaint id# [redacted].  Unfortunately, Time Investment Company, Inc. is strictly the finance company and we do not have anything to do with any promotional items that were promised at the time of purchase.  We financed the cookware that was purchased only. ...

The consumer signed a legally binding contract and there is no way to cancel or refund any part of what has been paid at this time.  I would suggest contacting [redacted] at ###-###-#### to discuss any promotional items that were not received.

I am writing in regards to complaint Id# [redacted] submitted by Mr. [redacted].  The interest rate on this account was adjusted to 2% annually as agreed upon by [redacted] and Mr. [redacted].  Unfortunately, cancellation of the contract is not an option at this...

point.  Mr. [redacted] had three days from the date he signed the contract to cancel and he is will outside of the rescission period at this time.  The adjustment to the interest rate he requested based on the verbal agreement made at the time of sale has been made and we feel this satisfies the complaint.  If there is anything else I can do, Mr. [redacted] is free to contact me directly at any time at ###-###-#### and I would be more than happy to help him.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
Regards,
[redacted]

We are currently still in the process of communicating back and forth with Ethan [redacted] to get his actual account information in order to pull up his account in our system. We have had contact with him via email within the last couple days and are waiting to hear back from him to provide us...

with his account information so we can help him. At this time we are unable to locate his account in our system without more information from him.

After further investigation into Mr [redacted] complaint it was found that Mr.  [redacted] and his wife signed a legal binding contract on January 24, 2017 to purchase a freezer and food from Passanante’s Home Food Service.  Passanate’s Home Food Service and Time Investment Company, Inc are two...

separate companies. We are not present at the time of sale, we are the finance company.  Mr. [redacted] and his wife filled out a credit application at the time of sale which they entered their cell numbers, mail and email addresses, along with other needed information and signed that all the information was correct.  We took assignment of the contract documents on February 6, 2017. We contacted Mr. [redacted] on February 15, 2017 to verify all the information on the application was current. Mr. [redacted] did verify that everything we had listed, including phone numbers, mail and email addresses, were all correct. At this time Mr. [redacted] advised us that he wanted to cancel the contract. We informed him that he could not since the 3 day cancellation period had passed. The [redacted] first few payments on both accounts were late. We tried multiple times trying to get a hold of them through the phone numbers and email addresses they had verified were correct.  We finally received a call from Mrs. [redacted] on June 6, 2017 verifying all the information we had was indeed correct and to make payment arrangements. After this the accounts continued to be late. We tried to find a way to get a hold of them to help them make payment arrangements, but were unable to do so. Mr. [redacted] called again August 3, 2017 to make payment arrangements for both accounts.  At that time he asked to have the late fees removed. As a one-time courtesy we did remove a late fee on each of their accounts. We were unable to reach the [redacted] again until they called on 2/8/2018 to fix their credit report. We were told the reason they were not paying was due to not receiving any statements.  This was the first time we were notified that there was a problem with their monthly statements. We did change the monthly statements to email per their request. We also explained to them why we would be unable to fix their credit due to their payment history. The [redacted] signed a legal binding contract to make on time monthly payments until the loans were paid in full.  Unfortunately they have not done so on a consistent basis. We would be more than happy to work with them to restore their credit rating. We would encourage them to contact us to make future payment arrangements.

I just learned from my credit report that TIME INVESTMENT CO had created a loan in my name. This occurred in May 2016, and was paid off in August 2016. It was for the sum of 10,040.
I was never notified of the loan by TIME INVESTMENT CO. I suspect that they are involved with fraud and identity theft.

Review: During the Presentation from Centries Lifestyle on 7/7/13, I was promised upon signing the contract that I would pay per student plan 1/2 monthly payments of $49.00 for first 12 months then $98.00. The month of February 2014 I paid my normal amount of $49.00 then received and email from employee Mrs. [redacted] on 2/21/14 stating that my account is still owed a payment for this month. I contacted Mrs. [redacted] who then transferred me to an employee [redacted] who then told TIC couldn't even read the contract because it had been written over but that she did see $49, and $98. [redacted] said I would have to call Centries Lifestyle because they were the company that did the contract with me. So I called Centries Lifestyle and spoke to [redacted] in the legal department who then told me I would have to call TIC because they are the company the loan is with then he gave me the direct extension to Customer Service Manager [redacted] at TIC and I left a message for a return call. [redacted] called back that day 2/21/14 and said that I was on a 6 month student program not a 12 month, I explained to [redacted] that my husband is disabled, and my graduation date was pushed back, she said she would extend it another 6 months for me even though I was supposed to have it for 12 months in the first place she also stated that the contract was hard to read because it had been written over. 2/21/14 I thought all was resolved with this company until today 3/3/14 when I received an email form employee Maria Watter stating that for the month of February I still owe a remaining balance and that nothing was resolved by TIC during that month. I called TIC to resolve this was gave the run around and transferred to three different people. I am done dealing with this company as I have stated to TIC and Centries Lifestyles. Both companies tell me to call each other only to be transferred back and fourth and given the run around about things. They are not honoring the original contract that signed on 7/7/13 with [redacted]. They have written over my contract and not honored what was promised to me. This company has poor Customer Service, and the employees are rude.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to accept their cookware back and close my account and I would like a refund of all the money I have spent making payments on the cookware and interest charges. I would like to have nothing to do with either companies.

Response:

I am writing in regards to complaint id# [redacted] submitted by Ms. [redacted]. The introductory payment amount was extended the additional 6 months as per the contract Ms. [redacted] signed when I spoke with her on February 21, 2014. When I spoke with her, she had already made a payment of $49.00 for February. Because that payment was made prior to the extension of the College Program, it was not enough to cover the amount that she had been billed for. I should have advanced the account when I spoke with her on February 21st but I did not. Immediately upon realization of our error, the account was manually brought current on March 3, 2014. Everything has been corrected and is in accordance with the contract that Ms. [redacted] signed with [redacted]. The payments are scheduled to increase beginning with the payment that is due on September 15, 2014 and will increase to $98.00 as stated on the contract.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Review: I have finally stopped receiving calls from this company but still owe them a great amount.. After the first problem I had with this company when they didn't want to give me the loan for the pots and pans to begin with, then it was decided to go ahead and force my contract through after I told them I didn't want it, and nothing had been delivered to me at that time, they said that was fine and that I would not receive any charges, then later I was forced into the contract by the owner of National Health styles or Cook World, whatever it is they go by, and was told that I could not get out of the contract because it had been past 14 days since they forced the contract on me, so I told them the only way that I would continue is if they would take a discount off, which they only gave me 1/3 of the discount that I asked for, and I was told it would only take 2 years for my contract to be up, it has been over a year, and not even half of the contract is done? Really? Also, after the contract was forced onto me Timeinvestment decided to call me and be very rude and told me my SSN over the phone, when they didn't get any kind of verification knowing whether it was me they were talking to or not. . . Since then I've been dealing with Identity Theft issues, I'm wondering if this company is the reason for those issues. Also, My first payment, their site kicked off 3 or 4 number of my checking account number, and they gave me a NSF fee... They actually returned the fee months later after having to deal with their rude and uncaring customer service department, I never want to have to talk to their customer service, and anytime I have to I call and ask to speak to a supervisor because everyone else that I have encountered there, EVEN the supervisors are just plain RUDE. And just of recent, I had done a payment over the phone and told them when to take the money out, they took it out earlier than I told them, and then they gave me a NSF Fee and told me that I was the one who set up the payment for that day on their website.. Every other month I have an issue with this company, Like them sending me a bill every month saying I owe 86.80, when I'm only suppose to be paying 43.40 per month..Desired Settlement: I guess since I have to deal with this company and their poor ethics, I would like for them to either discount me for my problems, or stop charging me the outrageous interest rates per month on top of per year, when I am a military veteran, and shouldn't be getting a 14.9% Interest Rate... I believe there is something about you can't charge military more than 7.9 or 6.9% APR.

What I really want is to be completely done with this rude company that is so high up on their own little high horses that they don't care about anyone but themselves. They wouldn't like their personal information being given out, I don't like mine given out, especially since after I had this contract with this company I've been dealing with Identity Theft Issues, and I honestly believe this company is the leak.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing in response the complaint ID# [redacted] submitted by Mr. [redacted]. I have been working with Mr. [redacted] personally for quite some time regarding several of his issues. We never denied credit to Mr. [redacted]. His loan was approved by Time Investment Company, Inc. right away. It is possible his application was submitted to a different finance company prior to it being sent to Time Investment Company, Inc. but we have no way of knowing that, nor do we have control over it. We also have no control over any discounts that may have been worked out with the company who originally sold Mr. [redacted] the merchandise. We simply financed merchandise that Mr. [redacted] signed a contract to purchase. We have reversed late fees and return check fees totaling $60.00 in an effort to put our customer first and I believe Mr. [redacted] was satisfied with that. The current balance on this account is less than half of what it originally was and Mr. [redacted] has approximately 17 payments left provided payments are made on time and there are no fees charged for late payments or returned checks. He was never promised a specific loan term as this is a revolving line of credit and there is no set loan term.

We do not sell information and our system with Mr. [redacted]’s information is completely secure. Any issues with identity theft could not have originated from Time Investment Company, Inc. as has been discussed with Mr. [redacted] several times. We sincerely apologize if he feels differently.

In regards to Mr. [redacted]’s billing statements showing that he is due for $86.80 rather than the minimum monthly payment of $43.40, this is because statements are generated on the day after his due date each month. If payments are not made on or before his due date for the current month, they are not reflected on the billing statement. This also causes it to show that he is due for two payments. This can be avoided entirely by making timely payments.

In regards to the interest rate, Mr. [redacted] signed a contract agreeing to the rate he is being charged. If he is an active duty military member, he is more than welcome to send me a copy of his deployment orders and I will reduce his interest rate in accordance with the Civil Service members Relief Act.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Response:

They still haven't gotten rid of the last late fee that wasn't paid because they wouldn't resolve this matter.

Review: I have been late a couple times but have always paid my bill within 60 days. They have put a lien on my house with telling me right in the middle of me trying to sell my house. They will not work with me at all to resolve this matter. The only option is to pay the balance of 4000+ within the next week before I sell my or I can't sell my house. This has put me in a serious bind I am currently current with the payments and still wont work with me.Desired Settlement: To release the line on the house and work out some kind of deal maybe pay some of the balance

Review: A salesman by the name of *** came to our home and knocked on our door claiming to be with *** out of *** He claimed to know my son-in-law who is in law enforcement and gave me a story on how he supposedly knew him and turns out his story was bogus. After (4) hours of being in our home we were pressured into signing documents to have our bathroom redone. The cost was going to be $7000.00. My wife and I are both elderly and I am retired. My wife is on disability due to brain surgery 4 years ago. Mr. *** (salesman) told my wife and I that we could "cancel" the contract by phone within 3 business days if we did not want their services. He said all we needed to do was CALL within the 3 business day time frame. I called several times during that period and left several messages but received NO calls back. At that point I called Time Investment to put a STOP to the loan application and was told that I personally could not cancel the loan that *** would have to do that. My daughter called the manager *** and at this point it seems that they are still trying to go through with the loan. She said he kept telling her he would look at the contract tomorrow b/c he thinks the contract says in tiny print that in order to cancel within the 3 day period the customer needed to send a letter certified mail. She asked Mr. *** WHY the salesman was not honest about this and his response was "well...I'll look at it tomorrow"! The salesman (Mr. ***) NEVER mentioned this. I will NOT have ANY work done to my bathroom whatsoever by this company and I will NOT pay a dime. If this loan is NOT cancelled I will seek an attorney. It is ILLEGAL to charge someone for services they did NOT receive. It is called bank FRAUD!Desired Settlement: STOP the loan process IMMEDIATELY!!!! If you go through with paying *** you will NOT be repaid! I will NOT pay for work that I did NOT have done!!!

Response:

I am writing in response to complaint id# ***. Time Investment Company, Inc. is a completely separate company from the company who sold Mr. *** the home improvements he was planning to have done. The application was assigned to Time Investment Company, Inc. for financing. This application was rejected due to Mr. ***’s issues with ***. We will not be extending credit and the loan process was cancelled on March 26, 2014 after our customer service representative spoke to Mr. *** and his daughter. Mr. *** can feel free to contact me directly at ###-###-#### if there is anything I can do for him.

Review: I bought a water softener from [redacted], they in turn used Time Investment Co as the provider of the loan to pay for this softener. I bought it in 2009 and as of today 2015 the loan has been paid off. I have all receipts of payment @ the bank. They were constantly harassing me to continue paying. I stated the loan is paid off with interest. They informed me I have to pay $5,832.28 again without interest. I paid once with interest now they want me to pay again without interest. I feel that is gouging. They turned it over to some lawyers [redacted] out of [redacted] ###-###-####. I am not sure what to do and I would appreciate any help I can get. They have totally ruined my credit as this now being an unpaid bill.Desired Settlement: I would like my good credit restored and have this issue finalized. There is no need for them to get this money a second time other than greed.

Response:

I am writing in response to complaint ID#[redacted] submitted by Ms. [redacted]. After a thorough review of this matter, we have concluded that Ms. [redacted] did not pay the balance in full with interest. She made payments for 55 months on her revolving account but her balance was never paid in full. In January 2014 Ms. [redacted] reached out to us stating that she was having difficulty continuing to pay due to circumstances beyond her control and we agreed to reduce her interest rate from 17.99% APR to 0.00% so she could pay the remaining balance without accruing any further interest. After this was done for her, she refused to make any further payments and her account was charged off due to non-payment. After we had exhausted all options we had available to help her fulfill her obligation, it was sent to our attorney. She is welcome to reach out to their office to discuss a settlement or repayment plan with them.

My biggest issue with this company is, that I call and clear my payments EVERY SINGLE month. Never late. And for some reason EVERY single month I get my bill and it says that I have a late fee and am required to pay double my minimum balance. I have called and asked what's going on. All they can say is, that they don't understand. My balance is fine and I owe no late fees. If that were so, then why are my paper bills STILL saying otherwise...?

Review: On 4/20/2013 my fiance and I were told to attend an event exclusively for engaged couples in the area because our contact information had been sold by a bridal company in the area to several different companies for opportunities we did not ask for. *** told me I was one of only a handful of couples receiving 3 free items with no strings attached as long as we both attended an hour long session. I agreed because she stated we would be gifted with matching tungsten wedding bands, an exclusive weekend trip at no cost to us and another surprise gift. As was stated over and over, 'at no cost to us.' We arrived at the seminar and was told we would be the audience of cookworld dishware. The surgical stainless steel dishware that could supposedly 'extend your life.' I say this because we were told by *** and her co-worker that the normal run of the mill dishware that everyone else uses would kill us approximately 5-7 years before our time. She led a demonstration in scrubbing the bottoms of normal stainless steel and cast iron skillets swishing water in the bottom. She stated that ingesting these types of metals into our bodies would harm us when in fact it is not harmful to us at all. Only after the demonstration, and scaring everyone into thinking we were killing ourselves by cooking food, did she tell us the 'free items' were not actually free and so this is what actually brought us there. We became skeptically but then she separated everyone and spoke with my fiance and myself alone. She stated we would be doing our young daughter a favor by staying alive longer for her benefit and saying in only 25 months we would have it paid off This made us curious because the numbers she stated did not completely match up. She was tossing around numbers left and right and absolutely no interest rate was mentioned. I did not want to be signing up for something that I could not pay off in 25 months so I made sure to ask *** 'Is the interest a set amount or is the interest growing?' "Oh no, don't worry it is already at a set amount it will not grow at all in the 25 months.' I asked her repeatedly and I continued to get the same answer. She said it would be set for 25 months as long as we made an upfront payment of $100.00 and made monthly payments of $91.00 for only 25 months. We were worried about the agreement because we were a new family and barely making ends meet. She would not allow us to read the contract and continued to pick it up and shuffle it around making it hard to see. She told us we only had 24 hours from time of signing to cancel the order I asked why only 24 hours when we would not even receive the dishware until 3-4 weeks later. She stated it was the policy and would not talk about it further. Soon after we paid the $100 upfront we decided to cancel I called in and the representative said I was given only 24 hours to decide I said that was ludicrous and was hung up on. Once we received the dishware the agreement came with it. After finally being able to read it the agreement stated we had 3 days, 72 hours to decide to cancel and we were lied to on both accounts. When I called back again to cancel I was told my time to cancel was up and was denied. And no where on the agreement did it state the interest amount. I have read it line after line. No where mentioned is an interest rate which by law states there has to be one for a contract to hold. Since April of 2013 we have attempted to use the dishware but all it does is stick when we were told nothing would ever stick to the pans and it would never fade or have water spots. Well it has both water spots and it fades and sticks. The lids tops have all popped off and the only thing in the set that might be worth anything is the set of kitchen knives. We were charged $1999.00 for the sales price $160.00 for freight and handling and $210.00 in sales tax coming to a total of $2369.00 once paid the $100.00 it became $2269.00 financed. $2300.00 for dishware. At the time I should have looked online to see how much the dishware sets are really worth because if I look them up I never see a set more expensive than $300.00. This was a complete rip off. We were lied to and manipulated into signing. I was advised by my contract lawyer to cease payments until we could come to a resolution but once I had the day of the 10th of March which is the day the amount is due I was receiving harassing phone calls 5-8 times a day asking 'where's our money, where's our money.' I was tired of it I stopped answering the phone calls. We were then contacted by Mrs. *** from the legal dept. of ***. She was very harsh and extremely threatening in the phone calls we've received from her. She stated once in a phone call if I did not call her back she was going to send someone out to my place of work to find me after running a trace on me to make me pay my bill. Then she was going to make a judge grant her permission to remove my paychecks. I actually became very terrified of being alone in a dark place or out at night and even for my 18 month old daughter. I have never been spoken to like that and did not appreciate it. I have anxiety and this only worsened it. She was very rude and using fowl language over the phone. I work in customer service and never have I experienced before the attitude or rudeness as I have from this woman. She is very disrespectful and psychologically upsetting. I had tried multiple times to cancel the order. I do not want the dishware I do not want anymore contact with this company i.e. ***, or Time Investment.Desired Settlement: I had tried multiple times to cancel the order. I do not want the dishware I do not want anymore contact with this company i.e. ***, or Time Investment. I want them to take back all the items they 'gifted' me with and I want the contract to be null and void. I would like any and all monies I have sent to Time Investment to be refunded and contact made with the 3 credit bureaus, TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian, that the account is terminated with no late payments.

Response:

I am writing in regards to the complaint submitted by Ms. ***. Time Investment Company, Inc. is a finance company only and we are completely separate from the company Ms. *** purchased her cookware from. We were not that at the time of sale and Ms. ***’s credit application was simply assigned to our office after the sale to provide the financing for her purchase. Any verbal promises made at the time of sale regarding interest rate or loan term were not made by Time Investment Company, Inc. We also do not service or have any affiliation with the cookware that was purchased. Ms. *** should contact *** to discuss the issues she is having and I’m sure they would be more than happy to educate her on how to use the cookware to prevent sticking and staining.

The account Ms. *** has is a revolving account. Her interest is a fixed rate, but there is no set loan term. In a gesture of good will, I will reduce the APR on this account from 21% to 17.99%. I would also suggest that Ms. *** start to pay more than the minimum payment. Even increasing the amount paid to $100.00 per month will help her pay the account off faster and save money on interest charges.

Mrs. *** works for the company that sold the cookware and I can put in a request to have her stop working on this account. Ms. *** can feel free to contact me directly at ###-###-#### if she has any further questions or concerns about the financing or if there is anything else I can do for her.

Sincerely,

Time Investment Co. Inc

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The interest is still very high but as long as there is not a penalty or fee added to the account for early payoff, I will accept the agreement.

Review: On March 10, 2015 we signed a purchase agreement with [redacted] The agreement was for food delivery. On the contractual agreement the food expense and food buying services were billed separately. It was explained to us that the food buying services embodied the cost to operate the business. This service was paying for payroll, admin. fees, etc. [redacted] utilized Time Investment Company, Inc for the financing and payment processing on behalf of [redacted]. Unfortunately, the CEO of [redacted] passed away with in 2 weeks of our delivery. Thereafter, we could not contact [redacted] They literally locked their doors, discontinued phone#, websites, etc. It was announced mid-April via FB that they closed their doors officially. They were no longer in business. Since then, we have been called by Time Investment CO, Inc 2-3x weekly about the outstanding balance owed for the food and service fees. I spoke to sales representative Maxine on 4/13 about the status of [redacted] and processed a payment for food only. On 4/22 I spoke to another sales representative Dalas at Time Investments to express my concerns about the contractual agreement since [redacted] no longer existed. I was informed things would be resolved. I advised Time Investments I was going to hold off on any additional payments until it was explained what was going to happen to my contractual agreement with [redacted]. Once again throughout the month of May and June we received collection calls from Time Investments. We were out of town much of May and June and corresponding with Time Investment rep Brittany via email. On 6/15 both my wife and me spoke to rep Brittany about our concerns on the service portion of the contract with [redacted]. We reviewed the contract and advised Time Investments we are happy to pay what we owe for the food only. We did not want to continue service with Time Investments or the other company they are contracted with to continue food services in the place of [redacted]. Nowhere in the contract we received from [redacted] does it state that Time Investments will take the place of [redacted] Foods. Nowhere does it state that we owe Time Investments for food buying services. Nowhere does it state that Time Investments will honor the warranty that was offered by [redacted] Foods. After speaking with Rep Brittany I asked to talk to her manager Heather. I explained to Heather we will be happy to pay for the meat we had delivered. However, I am not paying for services we never received. Once again the services were for the business operation of [redacted]. It also included organic cleaning supplies we never received. In addition, we never received our entire order of meat either. We brought this to the attention of Manager Heather. She stated she will credit our account of $8.19 for the missing box of steaks. Please tell me where I can get a box of organic steaks for $8.19? I advised Heather on 6/15 we are willing to pay for the food we received but not for anything else. She stated that was above her authority and she would have to take it to the CEO of Time Investments. I said no problem, I look forward to hearing back from you. I never heard from her again. I left Heather a voicemail on 6/24 with no response back. Within 2 days, we started receiving the collection calls again from Time Investments. This brings me to our question and problem. How is Time Investments trying to collect on services of a collapsed company? Time Investments is not listed on our contract. Time Investments is not listed on the warranty. Time Investments is not listed on the purchase agreement at all. We did not buy any appliance through Time Investments that needed financing. Our contract was with [redacted] who no longer exists. Time Investments calls 2-3x weekly trying to collect for delivered food and buying services. I have brought to their attention we never received services. [redacted] no longer exists. We never received a phone call , correspondence , etc. from [redacted] following our 1x food delivery. The purchase agreement included 3 deliveries of food. We received a partial 1x delivery. The charge for the 1x food was $1482.00 and $1295.00 for 3 rounds of buying services (18months). Time investments has applied the payment of $247.00 I made on 4/13 to the food bill reducing it to $1235.00. Because we do not want to continue any contract with Time Investments or copartners, Time Investments state they are doing us a favor by reducing the service fees from $1295 to $411.00 because we only received 1 order. Please note I made a down payment of $95.00 on the date of the contract signing. This was to be applied to the service fees charged by [redacted]. Once again, this brings us back to the problem. How can they collect on service fees charge by a company that dissolved? I was advised by manager Heather that they were charging $411 for the services we already received. I asked if it was a normal process to charge $411 for a 1x delivery charge? She had no response. In addition I spoke to a representative at Passanante's Home Food Services who is taking the place of the collapsed company [redacted]. They confirmed they will not fulfill any prior missing orders from [redacted] nor honor prior contracts with them. Time Investments is telling us if we continue service, that Passanante's will honor prior contracts. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. We simply want to pay for the food we received and call it good.Desired Settlement: We would appreciate the following outcome: In regards to the food received. We received 5 of 6 boxes. The total charge for the delivery was $1482.00. $1482.00 divided by 6 =$247.00 per box. Therefore, we received $1235.00 worth of meat for the 5 boxes. I also made a payment of $247.00 on 4/13/15. Therefore, we are happy to pay $988.00 for the balance owed on the food.

In regards to the buying services fees, the total charge for 3 different deliveries was $1295.00. I made a deposit of $95.00 at the time of the contract. Time Investments is billing us $411.00 for the 1 delivery. Considering we never received the cleaning supplies included in that fee or any contact from the contracted company, I think that $95.00 should satisfy the 1x truck delivery. Therefore, we would like to have this balance wiped clean.

I am writing in regards to complaint id# [redacted]. We are working directly with the customer to resolve any issues. We have come to an agreement that is satisfactory to all parties involved regarding the service agreement and we are working on the balance of the food contract.

Review: Me and my fiance purchased cookware from [redacted] and were promised gifts and that there would be no interest and we could pay off our stuff in a year. We decided to go ahead and purchase and when we received the vacations we were told we had to pay $100 fee just to book it. So we decided to over look it. We never received the wedding bands we were promised and we have been getting charged for another year. We had no problem paying the 1 year because we were sort of satisfied with our cook wear. Now we are burdened with a $70 bill for the past yead every month. We try calling or getting in touch with someone every time we had yet another payment come out and it's been a dead end. I would just like my money back that I didn't need to pay this company. Because Im barely getting by trying to raise my family.Desired Settlement: I would just like my money refunded and for the billing to stop. I receive the bill in the middle of the night and they take directly from my account. Once it was twice in the same month. I want no more billing from the company who thought it was okay to take advantage of a younger couple. We don't hate our product, but we should have already paid it off as promised and would love for you to quit stealing money from us.

I am writing in regard to complaint id# [redacted]. Unfortunately, Time Investment Company, Inc. is strictly the finance company and we do not have anything to do with any promotional items that were promised at the time of purchase. We financed the cookware that was purchased only. The consumer signed a legally binding contract and there is no way to cancel or refund any part of what has been paid at this time. I would suggest contacting [redacted] at ###-###-#### to discuss any promotional items that were not received.

Review: In April 2015, there was some small work done on my deceased father's property. He passed away in November of 2015. I sent notification to the company via USPS mail and called the company to clear up account. Filed notice in paper as required by law. Payments came out May that of 2015 and 8 payments made by automatic draft. Company missed filing deadline and put lien against property 9 months later. Illegally filing lien. I have all the information regarding dates and paymebts. Crooked company.Desired Settlement: I desire the fraudulent lien to be emoved so I can sell the property. I have all the proof to prove fraudulent practices. Company needs to be fined as actions were illegal.

I am writing in regards to a complaint submitted on behalf of Mr. *** C. ***. Time Investment Company, Inc. did finance the bathroom renovation for Mr. *** and placed a lien against his property when the account went past due in December 2015. We made daily phone calls with no response until we received an email from someone claiming to be Mr. *** on February 1, 2016 asking how much he owed so he could bring the account current. We responded with the information requested. We received a call from Mr. ***’s power of attorney to discuss payment arrangements on February 3, 2016 and we were told that she would be taking care of the payments because of Mr. ***’s mental health. At the end of the call, she informed us that he had actually passed away and his estate was in probate. The last payment we attempted to take via automatic withdrawal was in December 2015 because his checking account was closed, two months before we were notified that Mr. *** passed away. We charged off the account due to Mr. *** being deceased when we were notified in February 2016. We did not illegally file a lien or continue taking payments months after we were notified of his passing. Our lien is valid and the bathroom remodel is a fixture on the home that is being sold so the debt must be paid in order to release the lien.Thank you,***Customer Service ManagerTime Investment Co. Review: This company calls my home and cell phone at least once a day every day in addition to calling my place of employment. I informed them in writing via email that I cannot receive collections calls at my place of employment and to cease. Unfortunately, I am not always able to answer my cell phone during the hours of 9am to 7pm which is why voicemail is available. In the same email and after several extremely rude interactions, including one where the agent on the phone told my spouse he was a bad husband because we have a debt, I advised Time Inv. that I would not answer their calls any further and that they can have a Supervisor contact me via email. I never received a reply via email and instead continue to receive phone calls. On multiple occasions they continue to call my place of business including today when I answered the phone in front of my boss and had to explain again they cannot call me at work. The agent "[redacted]" then came back at me with an attitude saying "well maybe you should return our calls then" at which point I terminated the call. The excessive calls and rude interactions with this company has turned into harassment. I have proof in cell phone records, call records on my business phone as well as email. I understand I owe a debt and have made payments to clear it, in one instance paying over $1000. There is no reason for the treatment I and my family have received. This is a breach of the FDCPA!!!Desired Settlement: I would like 50% of my remaining balance to be removed from my total and for Time Investment to STOP calling. They are welcome to contact me via email within reason, but I will NOT accept their calls due to the treatment we have received.

I am writing in response to complaint id# [redacted] submitted by Ms. [redacted]. After carefully reviewing both accounts, I can confirm that daily calls are made to Mrs. [redacted], however we have only spoken to her one time on April 8, 2015. She did state that she did not want calls to her place of employment and we did inform her that we had been trying to reach her at home for quite some time with no response. We did state that she needed to return our calls to make payment arrangements in order to avoid calls at her place of employment. We have not received any emails from Mrs. [redacted] to date. We have spoken to Mrs. [redacted]’s husband on two occasions, most recently on April 8, 2015 where he notified us that they were trying to pay their loans in full but needed a little more time. We are willing to work with all of our customers, especially those that may be experiencing a hardship, however we need communication. If there was an open line of communication regarding missed payments, we would not need to make daily phone calls. I’ve also reviewed the payment history on both accounts and unfortunately, even though large payments were made on each account in November to bring them current at that time, no payments were made again until March of this year and the payments made at that time were not enough to bring either account up to date. The contracts signed state that Mrs. [redacted] must make minimum payments each month to keep the accounts current. That has not been done. Unfortunately, we are unable to remove any part of the balance. We will stop all collection activity by phone, however we do expect the balance to be paid in accordance to the legal agreement we have with Mrs. [redacted].

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

I have actually spoken to agents multiple times as well as responded to emails where I advised them that I would no longer entertain their phone calls. See below. I also have an email string where I was communicating with an agent named [redacted] about the payments. Not only have I answered phone calls in the past, I have even called in for assistance with website access so I could make my payments. Counting all 3 phone numbers this company has, they contact me anywhere from 1 to 3 times a day including at my place of business which again they CANNOT do. I have given more than 30days notice of this fact and when I try to explain this I am given an attitude. I received a call from them again today during business hours which I CANNOT ANSWER. As previously stated, I am happy to correspond via email, which they apparently have had no issue with before, but I will not allow this company to harass and belittle myself or my household. The attitude, comments and harassment we have received and continue to receive are completely uncalled for. Now they claim we have never spoken to them until April 8th? This is why I now insist on communication only via email as this company will apparently lie through their teeth. On Thursday, February 19, 2015 4:06 PM, [redacted] <[redacted]> wrote:[redacted]

Review: When we purchased a Healthway Clearstation Air Purifier from [redacted] in [redacted] on 8/22/2014, we signed a Sales Purchase Order that stated the interest rate was 2% for the whole term of the financing agreement/loan. When [redacted] from Time Investment Company (TIC) contacted us on August 26, 2014 to verify my personal information, she advised me that my payment would be $36.00 per month and my interest rate was 17.99%. I told her that information was incorrect and explained to her that my Sales Purchase Order from [redacted] states it and the salesperson, [redacted], verbally stated that it was 2%. I told her to stop the loan as I wanted to contact [redacted] to cancel the sale within the three day right of recission period. I called the salesperson, [redacted], on 8/26/14 and told him what was going on. He confirmed that my rate should have been 2% and that he would have someone from his office contact me in the morning as his office was closed. Since that time, I have been passed between [redacted] and TIC with neither one of them willing to give me proof in written form of a corrected finance agreement with the interest rate that I was promised.I have since filed a complaint against [redacted] with the [redacted] as I want them to cancel the sale and pick up the unit. I do not wish to do business with a company that pulls a "bait and switch" tactic on senior citizens who live on a fixed budget. My wife suffers from various health issues and this purchase was made to help her feel better. However, the stress of the situation has caused her much anxiety and caused her blood pressure and sugar levels to fluctuate. To make matters worse, today I was verbally harassed by a collector from TIC who threatened my credit rating even after I advised her that the sale and contract are in dispute with the Revdex.com against [redacted]. My Revdex.com representative, Meghan McDade advised me to also file a claim against TIC with your office as they are located in Wisconsin not Florida.Desired Settlement: We want to cancel the finance agreement with TIC and the sale with [redacted]. We need your assistance to stop the harassment from TIC and with cancelling the finance agreement.

Response:

I am writing in regards to complaint Id# [redacted] submitted by Mr. [redacted]. The interest rate on this account was adjusted to 2% annually as agreed upon by [redacted] and Mr. [redacted]. Unfortunately, cancellation of the contract is not an option at this point.
