When I called in on 5/7/18. I did specifically state that I was desiring a refund and that was the reason for my call. I was told that Dr*** could decide whether or not I receive a refund by ***. I spoke with Dr*** on May and he asked me to drop my orthotics at his office. I dropped them off late afternoon on 5/14/18. He said that foot levelers wouldn't give a refund, but that they would return my orthotics for modification and that was all that could be done. As of today, 6/4/18, *** with Dr*** reports that they just received the instructions for taping from footlevelers. Apparently, the office has no experience with taping for modification. I would very much still prefer a refund than risk further pain for my left foot.

Foot Levelers has been in contact with Doctor *** Doctor *** has contacted the patient explaining that if the product does not work properly her will return to Foot Levelers for a full refund under the warranty

It looks like there wasn’t anything done from the office to the patient for a mod or refund hereDetails on the calls below. On 5/7/Dr*** ***’s office called in (*** and they described the patient having foot pain on one sideWe let them know that we could definitely do a
modification for the patient as the orthotics were within warranty until August of *** said she would call the patient and call us back. On 5/7/The patient, *** ***, called asking about warranty info with the orthotics*** said we work directly with the doctor’s office and they would facilitate anything neededThe patient said the office asked her to call us, but in the next call, the staff says the patient Googled our number*** told the patient that she’d call the office on her behalf so the office would contact her to help with any issues, including her refund question. On 5/7/*** made an outbound call to *** as promised that the patient called about the warrantyShe let *** know that we explained we would deal directly with the doctor’s office and directed her back to them to work out a solution for the patient. On 5/16/*** called in and got *** explained the left heel pain and that she brought the orthotics into the doctor’s office*** said we could increase the arches, for example, by conducting a tape test to get the patient to agree when they felt more reliefOnce that’s completed, we can then give the RA number to get them back to have a modification done*** sounded a little confused so *** said she’d email the tape test instructions to the doctor. On the calls, we never were asked about a refund, so for the benefit of the patient we talked about the modification route as they were under warranty*** confirmed that they needed to call back in a couple weeks to get the return number as that would be enough time to get the right increase with the tape. It appears the office just needed to follow up with the patient to either do the tape test so we could do an accurate modification or call us for a refund. See attached notes.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
