Reg: Complaint # [redacted] filed on 10/22/17 by [redacted] Regarding the above complaint, we would like to mention that the customer came to our store for watch battery repair. We repaired the watch battery and while picking up the watch, she complained that the Watch band... is damaged. Even though, we were not sure if the band was damaged by us or it was worn out before, we agreed to replace the watch band free of cost to maintain good customer relations.They went to [redacted] store to find out the price of the band. [redacted] store told them the price as $45 plus taxes. I asked them that they get the band replaced and get the receipt from [redacted] store of whatever amount they paid for the replacement of the band and I will reimburse them the money. But the lady started shouting, abusing me and kept on asking the money upfront. I kept explaining to them patiently that to maintain good customer relations, I am totally ready to reimburse them the cost of the band even though it is not my fault. I just asked them to give me the receipt of what they actually pay so that I can reimburse them the exact amount and resolve this matter to their satisfaction. But the lady started shouting more, abusing and making scene in the store. At that point, I offered to call police as it was no fault of mine and the cops can help with maintaining a peaceful atmosphere in store. At that point, they left.I am still ready to pay them the amount of band replacement. For that reason, We already send a check for $47.82 ( $45 + tax of $2.82) in the name of [redacted] .I hope this will resolve the matter to everyone satisfaction.Thanking You [redacted] ***Time Square
