Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution as long as it meets the GIA certified standards of: PRO1866E, cts, H, SJ (original rankings) will be satisfactory to me and the matter can be resolved I will pickup in March, I travel alot and they are aware of that Sincerely, [redacted]

Sans Unicode','sans-serif #333333;">To whom it May [redacted] : On January **, 2014, [redacted] has walked into our store asked us to help him to find a diamond solitaire engagement ring for him. Sales lady helped him find exactly the diamond solitaire engagement ring that he was looking for. Later, I personally got involved with the sale and adjust the price to fit in his range which is $5,500 + NYS Sales Tax 8.875% . [redacted] agreed on the price and he willingly placed a deposit, amount of $500 toward the purchasing the diamond solitaire ring. He told us that he was coming back the [redacted] of January of 2014 and to pay the remaining of the balance of $5,488 and finalize the sale and pick it up. We have called him on the January [redacted] as well as later dates and reminded him to come and pick up the ring. But, whenever we call him to remind him his obligations, he was giving us shady answers and not willing to come in and finalize the sale as he promised us; a.) Provided him a great purchase price and meet his price goal b.) Removed the merchandise off of showroom and hold it for him until promised date c.) **lled him multiple times and follow up with him. d.) We told him we’d give him extra time to pay. We did everything right (and more) on our part and he is the one who did not keep his promise and did not show up to pay the remaining of the balance and pick up his ring and gave us shady answers. We have been doing business in diamond district over 30 years. Doing business in diamond trade, reselling diamond engagement rings and wedding bands are NOT a child game but very serious business. It is a business contract when someone puts a deposit on merchandise to finalize later. Because, we took his word and his deposit very seriously and removed the diamond solitaire ring of the showroom (as expected of us) and put it in the vault for him. By doing this he prevent us selling this diamond solitaire ring to anybody else. We are very serious and honest and very transparent company. You can check our records we have clean records, On his complaint to BBB, [redacted] has accused us with shady business practices, we strongly urge him and the BBB look into the matter once again and to see it clearly and obviously that in fact it is [redacted] is the one who is acting and doing shady business. Our company policy is clearly stated on the credit card receipt that he agreed and signed which says “ No Refunds – All sales are final “. Furthermore, as a courtesy we would like to take this opportunity and to show BBB and to [redacted] that we are willing to work with him further and try to make him happy with the price. Therefore, we are offering to match the price of $4,500, instead of $5,500. If he comes back and picks it up A.S.A.P. We are here to help and work with him.

This is definitely the place to get your engagementI recently just purchased my three carat round stone with a beautiful halo designWe were called in by a girl in the window, and once we walked in we were welcomed kindly by another employee, something you don't get on that street(kindness)They had an array of engagement rings and GIA certified stonesWe told one of the employees that we wanted a three carat round stone, D color VSGIA certified and wanted under a certain budgetThe employee kindly showed us the stone WITH the certificate, right then and theirWe spent our whole day going up and down the block looking for the perfect ringAfter seeing the stone, I picked out a beautiful halo settingWe were then moved to Joe's office (the boss)Joe was very funny and made a connection with usApparently, he has been in the business for years, previously owned by his father, Peter, who was in the store as wellJoe told us that he has the best bottom prices for engagement rings and that he takes care of his customersWe really didn't know that he could give us such a great on the ringWe came out of the store satisfied with our purchaseI really recommend you going their for all your jewelry needs

The purpose is to get a store credit of what I deposited because I was able to find a better deal else where.  Or, a full refund minus a holding fee of course. I found a better deal on the Blue Nile website with the same details at $4500.

Review: The [redacted] gave me a deal on an engagement ring in which I made a $500 deposit on it. He told me that I had to complete the $5488 purchase by the end of the month (provided I had the money in time to complete the purchase). He called me the week of the expected pickup due date and I explained to him that I cannot make the deadline in which he told me that he will extend the pickup date but I WAS OBLIGATED to purchase something at the value of $5500?! All I have is a business card with the payment info and balance due... No contract or anything of the sort. I would like a full refund cause I do not approve of the shady practices!!! I found a better deal a very similar ring and I would like to purchase from a different dealer. I had no problem with completing the deal withTimeless Diamonds until I was told that I had to make a huge purchase regardless. Please helpDesired Settlement: I would like a full refund.
